Hopeful some can help me out.
How du I find max distance from projector to screen.
Screen 133" 2.35:1 ( 3108 x 1320 mm )
Projector Sony VPL-HW50ES
Lense Schneider The Cine-Digitar 1.33x
Thank you so much.
It looks like you are using an anamorphic lens, so there a couple of considerations. First calculate the screen range using the height of the screen to determine the 16:9 screen area. In this case 2347x1320 mm. Once you have that range, cross reference that with the range the lens manufacturer's suggested range for the lens. They need to overlap. Generally they will and I believe you want to be towards the long end of the throw.
Thank you very much.
My rear shelt is 6 meter from the screen. Will the image be to big for my screen?
It looks like it will be.
That shows a throw range of 333-506 cm for a 240x135 screen (remember you must figure the screen size as if it was 16:9). You'll have to contact the lens manufacturer to get a recommendation for your projector and that lens. You'll need to move the projector anyway, so I would get their recommendation and ceiling mount it as close you as can to that measurement.
