Panasonic PT-AE8000 stuttering/dropping frames

Ever since I got this projector, every 30 seconds or so it drops some frames. I mainly use it with an Apple TV, but I've also noticed the problem with video from my computer (a MacBook Pro with an HDMI port) and, I think, a Panasonic Blu-Ray player (been a while since I've tried it).

Has anyone else noticed anything like this? I just sent it in for service, and it came back with the note "replaced main board" and the same problem. Here are a couple of videos of the problem in action:

I have the exact same problem. Sent unit in 4 times and it was never fixed. The only way I figured out to how to minimize it was but putting the projector into Game mode. I did my best to adjust the picture settings but it's def not as good a picture as any other modes. Panasonic sucks.

If you use the search engine (within the thread) and stuttering, I don't know if there is a resolution, but I'm sure it's been discussed:

Are you using an AVR or video processor in between the projector and your source component (blu-ray player, cable box, ect)? It almost sounds like some kind of frame rate mismatch where the source is 30p or higher and it's forced to be played back at 24p, hence the stuttering. What are your source components and any other items in your video/audio chain? Be sure there's no forced 24p mode. You should have things set to auto so it will detect what the video feed is and output at that frame rate.
