Did you have to do anything? Mine doesn't from either my HTPC or Shield. It does HDR is playing when you click on the projector info screen.

Not really. It has been doing that since I bought it. I am running the newest firmware they ever released.
I will have to check the menu when I get home to see where it could be.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm on the latest firmware too, 30.1, I think. It could be my marantz av7703 causing the issue as well.

Good point. I am very picky about it so I go directly from my PC to the projector

That’s really strange. All JVC projectors with HDR Picture Mode will automatically switch to it on detection of HDR signal. Even the RS500 will automatically switch to Gamma D.

Thanks guys. It has to be my marantz av7703 causing the issue. They introduced the HDMI enhanced setting in the av7704. But the 7703 is HDR, HDR10 and Dolby vision compatible.

Any users out there with an AV7703 have their HDR working correctly?

Does anyone have weird ghosting artifacts when playing 24p content on the 520? It seems to mostly go away if I turn off 24p output and let my players output at 60 hz. It’s also present on multiple sources and I’ve confirmed it’s not my receiver or hdfury. My unit was fully updated by jvc before I bought it.

Still love my 620, but I have one issue with it.

I keep CMD off at all times, but the CMD banding is still there upon startup and when I change sources.

I just have to cycle through CMD from "off" back to "off" to correct it, but I wish I didn't have to do that each time.

Is there a fix for this that doesn't require sending my unit in?

I believe turning on Low Latency will prevent CMD from turning on.

Cool, thanks. I didn't know that.

Does that negatively affect picture quality in any way?
