It heresy on this thread, but was thinking that while new jvc remote looked polished, it was actually a step backwards in functionality compared with my current epson 5040 remote.

I just installed harmony elite couple of weeks ago while we wait. Was concerned about about installation modes, so hearing about your proactiveness was amazing. Thanks!
Does anyone actually use the remote from each device? I can't imagine having 3-5 remotes laying around.

Maybe you can pick up a used RS540/RS640 this round. I think something like this would be a fantastic upgrade to the 40es and on a smallish 92" screen, you may never really benefit from native 4K anyway.

This is a good call. You can probably sell that BenQ in a few weeks for no loss.

I still do, I just have two though, one for the UHD player and one for the projector.
The HTPC has a Logitech mouse pad.

The controls for the AVR are right beside me, so I don't really need the remote for that one.

I’d be interested to hear how many nits you get on your setup, and what tone mapping curve and lamp mode you use for HDR. I have a 135” screen too.

Morphine was my friend that day.
Look on the bright side; yes it cost $3,700 out of pocket but if you had lived say 100 years ago, it probably would have been untreatable and you would be dead. So thank God we live in the day, and country we do, when medical advancement has made your full recovery possible.

As for having to put off your JVC 4K PJ purchase for now... don't worry about it, they'll make more

No I have 2 young kids and two 10yr old vehicles and my RS2000 will be my new splurge toy for the next year or two until I can hopefully save up enough to afford a new Sierra Denali but GM keeps jacking up the price year after year because demand for large luxury trucks and SUVs in the US is out of control.

That sure took care of the pain.
Similar experience as they also made me wait. I also figured ut was due to how addicts come into ER seeking a fix.

Now just so everyone knows, These vehicle pictures are not off topic, in some situations we may need to use our rides to pick up a projector. In the event this is the case, I wanted to share a photo

Except, you can look at medical records and see that I hardly ever go to a doctor. I had some pain medicine left over from my first kidney stone and used it, when I had my second one, just staying home.

Love the eye candy while we wait!

I not only work at a car company, i turned down jobs that paid twice as much money, in a warmer climate, so could get paid to do (one of my) hobbies.

My weekend ride/toy would make some of you laugh, but after adding up savings from cheaper car insurance over the years, it helped fund the rs3000 that will show up, some day

If I find a pic, will post. No HP or torque, but is shiny and has 4 wheels
