The last post here was in January. It's May. Does anyone have a triple laser version in play yet?

I'm designing a room around my 85' TV but would rather be designing for a 100" screen if the input lag is low and this delivers on promises.

The Hisense 75L9 is in the wild, mainly in China since last fall. Would probably be hard to get a hold of but may be worth it.

Technically, the LG HU85 is 'triple laser'. One Red, one Blue and a 2nd Blue filtered to Green.

Yea, but it's in white. They need to make these units black.
Knolly likes this.

Movies must be OAR, sports and movies must also have 5.1 audio, No EE or NO SALE!

I’ve said that from day one, but it’s not currently an option. I actually have mine behind my center channel(was always going to be there, anyway) and then covered the top in black felt.

Yes, but as far as I have heard it doesn’t pass the lag test when it comes to gaming. That’s why I am hopeful that Hisense can check all the boxes.

Since all of these are E-shifted DLP's, they all have the same restriction regarding lag. So the only differences with lag between the units will be minor differences. So unless something changes with Texas Instrument's platform, you are not going to see a low lag E-shift DLP.

Define "lag test". ; )

In all seriousness, when I switch it to "Game" mode to play Xbox, I don't have any issues with it. It is 100% unplayable in the regular modes, but in Game, it's just fine.

I play shooter style games so my definition would be “more than 50ms gets hard to ignore”

When LG was first released even the game mode was reporting high. Maybe firmware updates improved it? If so, LG is getting another look!

Haven't played any FPS games on this projector since installing it in January. Mortal Kombat has been my main jam, lately.
