madMeasureHDR4iso

the goal is to use madMeasureHDR with iso files
drop the zip in a folder
edit the madMeasureHDR4iso.ini to match your configuration

run madMeasureHDR4iso.exe to see the syntax

for testing,

i modify the search function with 2 popups and copy of the message in the clipboard

1) one to display which is use to execute madMeasureHDR4iso.exe,
2) the other to verify which is use with mpc-be64.exe
(clic ok to continue)

if using mpc without saving mpc-be64.ini ( save having r/w problem if mpc in program files) make sur mpc is configured with "full path" in "tittle bar"

@Manni01 : delete the empty file "mpc-be64.ini" you create for testing

@Manni01 : at home madMeasureHDR4iso.exe /s works with network mapped drive

if you use .bat , don't forget to modify path inside .bat

my results :
<C:\util\autoit\sources\pack_for_avs\madMeasureHDR 4iso.ini>
<c:\util\mpc-be64\><mpc-be64.exe>
D:\isofolder\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00089.mpls
Attached Files
File Type: zip pack_for_avs.zip (504.4 KB, 14 views)

I thought I'd post in this thread rather than the HDR one since you commented on this little exe earlier

https://github.com/3ll3d00d/madmeasu...ases/tag/0.3.0 is a build which should search for iso's when used with the -i flag & which has (I think) improved the title detection (and also allows for a choice between the behaviour seen in LAVFilters BDDemuxer via the --use-lav switch and that found in libbluray, this is the default). It also has a -s flag for just dumping the main playlist out and nothing else.

for example, searching for ISOs on a particular drive (with or without silent)

Code:
C:\Users\Matt\Downloads>madmeasurer.exe -i -d0 w: 2>NUL
w:/test.iso,00800.mpls

C:\Users\Matt\Downloads>madmeasurer.exe -i -d0 -s w: 2>NUL
00800.mpls
so you could probably use this as a simpler/faster way to get the playlist (than launching MPC-BE)...

if it gets the right title that is, for me it still isn't exactly the same as the way jriver behaves (which seems to be more like libbluray but not exactly the same). If you remove the 2>NUL and use -vvv then it will dump debug info about why it picked that title.

Perfect !!! but as for you it doesn't give the same mpls as mpc-be (2/14 differents)
(with --use-lav it's 5/14 differents)

i like to call your tool (as an option instead of mpc) with mine but i don't know how to launch it only for one iso file
c:\util\madvr\madmesureanalyser\madmeasurer.exe -i -d0 --use-lav d:\video_d\bluray4k\BT2020\file.iso 1>xxx 2>nul

it's seem to work only with folder
c:\util\madvr\madmesureanalyser\madmeasurer.exe -i -d0 --use-lav d:\video_d\bluray4k\BT2020\ 1>xxx 2>nul

try this one https://github.com/3ll3d00d/madmeasu...ases/tag/0.4.0

Code:
madmeasurer.exe -is w:\test.iso 2>NUL
00800.mpls

I found the mpc-be code that does this job so I'll compare their implementation to see what the difference is (I must say I didn't expect working out how to guess the main title to be such a mission!)

Great !
i 'll try to put this option in my tool
i can't use directly yours because for iso file , i create a measurements file with a name like :
"d:\video_d\madvr_mesures\save\Mission Impossible Rogue Nation (2015).iso[!BDMV!PLAYLIST!00800.mpls].measurements"

@xxxx5 am I right in thinking you mount the iso as a drive and then measure the index.bdmv found on that drive? If so, where does the resulting measurement file end up?

mpc-be mount a drive for me so i don't close it until the end of measurement with madmeasure.

The result was put in the path define in madvr
My script take it , rename it ( file.iso[name_of_mpls].measurements or file.iso[index!bdmv].measurements ) and put it in the path define in my .ini ( path_madmesure_save="d:\video_d\madvr_mesures\save \" )
At last , I close mpc-be
( for playing a file , my script do the reverse option activate /a : rename, put in madvr path then play )

in a first version, (without using mpc) i mounted the drive with virtualclone drive but i don't think it works anymore now

new version : global options /i /[ps]99999 works with folder full of iso

I gave this a quick try in my script and found that if I mounted the ISO and measured then it wrote the measurements file into the iso (i.e. the measurements file survives though a dismount/mount cycle). If this is the case then why do you need a special file name for an iso as opposed to simply mount the iso and play it as if it is any other BDMV folder?

With virtualclone drive or mpc-be, the mount bd is read only. (and with a real bd also) so i prefer save measuments file in another folder with a special name.

no need to fill the path_madmesure_use et madvr_ignore_measurement_file variable.
madMeasureHDR4iso.exe read registry madvr to know the values.
