Chad B The Magician

Had the pleasure of having Chad B out to calibrate my JVC X790. When I got the projector I felt the image was great out of the box albeit a bit dark with HDR content.

Boy was I wrong... when Chad came up from the basement after about 4 hours and said he was done and I went down to see it I was blown away! I would have sworn I was watching a different projector. The picture was so much brighter, sharper, and the colors were perfect. I sat there in complete awe, mesmerized by the image. I can’t believe the picture looks this good!

On another note I did have it calibrated before Chad by another “experienced” calibrator and he pretty much destroyed the picture. I had to reset all of his settings as the picture was much worse after he left. Unfortunately it was an expensive lesson learned. I highly, highly recommend you wait until Chad can come to your area as he is amazing at his craft and is the best investment you can make in your home theater.

ChadB has a fantastic reputation and one of my friends here on AVS works with him regularly to get the best out of his JVC and system in general. Sounds like you made a good investment.

I will be meeting Chad B for the first time here real soon, he will be visiting me in under two weeks on May 20th, to have my Projector/ JVC RS4500 calibrated with - DCR Lens - Lumagen Rad Pro - can't wait to see what HDR on this thing can really do, i have tweaked it all i can and i am already very pleased, but i know Chad will put it to it another level.

I posted my thoughts on the JVC RS 45000 thread regarding my experience to Chad B's work, i have not had the opportunity to review an entire movie, or movies, since the hours spent all day yesterday took up a large portion of the day - but i would have to say more than a magician, maybe wizzard -

I would highly recommend anyone with projection and audio for home theater get on the waiting list and let Chad do his work.

Chad has been my calibrator since 2005. I think that says it all.

I have been using Chad since 2003 for all audio/video calibrators. He is also been a good "3rd party" adviser on several of my upgrades...

The OP needs to fix the title of this post.. A magician is a and illusionist, a much more "Accurate" word would be Wizard!
