You'll need an htpc for madVR now, or you can buy the ENVY processor when it hits the marketplace soon.

Sources now is a UHD BluRay Player. Primarily. I did just buy an Apple 4k TV box but moving that to my OLED for now until I get a 4k PJ.

I am not familiar with MadVR. I have been hearing about it and sounds like that is another thing I will have to do some research on.

Hi I would recommend the n5 since your room maybe doesn't benefit the extra contrast in the n7 .
But if you want to have 100lum and dual iris and dci filter then go for the n7.

But the jump from epson to n5 is really huge in quality .

I have a n7 today but I have a completely black room except the floor.

What are those two main speakers? They look like they greatly outclass that center (going just by looks lol). Have you tried just disabling the center and running phantom center out of the left/right fronts?

Edit: that room looks really cool.

So you have no idea about the in-room performance of his speakers, the brand of speakers or their specs but you automatically have something negative to say and then make a suggestion to run a phantom center without having any first hand knowledge? Some decorum of saying " Hey you have an amazing room and cool setup. Those front speakers look huge do they compliment your center well, which looks a little smaller?"

I get private messages every day asking what your deal is and why are you always such a know it all and so pompous. That is why I am now commenting because I am tired of getting private messages about your online behavior. Take the hint.

Great looking theater @audiostar88, you should be proud. I bet watching flicks in that space is quite something!

There's nothing negative being said here. I swear I've seen those speakers before (or something looking like them) and although I can't remember where, when, what and had a great impression of them and was genuinely curious how they do compared to the center.

Thanks again for the personal attacks. First, I don't believe you that you get messages about me. People would know that it's not your job to police my behavior and the chances that you're getting messages from users asking about me seems extremely slim. Users cant be so dumb that they think somehow you know all about my posts. If my posts bother you, please put me on ignore - that's what the feature is for. I'm not planning to make changes to help your inbox.

If I could forward the messages about your behavior without divulging other forum members identity I certainly would. Complaining about you incessantly filling up threads with your constant arguing when all they want to do is read for knowledge and assistance. You really don't get it do you? I feel bad for you, honestly I do.

Thank you for your pity. I appreciate it. If you constantly get messages from people that are so dumb they think you somehow manage things here then perhaps you can be a little helpful and point those people to the ignore feature. Sounds like it'll solve their problems.

You are hilarious. So you went back and edited your post to give the guy a compliment. So you took my advice to give a compliment before crapping on a person's setup. But then you posted how you weren't going to change how you post. But then you did.

Well the problem with putting you on ignore is we would miss out on the vast knowledge and insight you really do possess. You have a very analytical and diagnostic mind combined with projector knowledge. That is why it is so frustrating because people tune you out because of your combative delivery style, when really you are a great resource. but your message gets lost in all of the negativity. I am a fan of your your insight. Just wish you could understand more about how your delivery makes it hard to win people to your view even when you are absolutely correct.

That would be fun. Honestly the two of us would make a great combination. My emotional intelligence and Mark's actually brilliant analytical intelligence. I know it is rare you get both in one human.

Awesome theater. So you have the one center channel speaker and it is designed to go with the left and right? Asking for a friend.

Hi.

Yes it's made for that series you can go up in size if you take the the bigger 2.3c but that one is made for the flagship speakers from that brand so I think it's better to have the center made for the speakers I have.

Thank you for clarifying I actually went out and research those speakers after I saw them in your room they are absolutely ridiculous in a fantastically good way. I assume you are running separates and some type of DSP. I probably incorrectly stated that you'll be using a Denon 8500. probably not with those speakers

Make it like the Bachelor when you have the bbq. You give big chicken legs to the final two contestants. They have been chosen to watch a movie. Lol.

My room is 9m long and 6m wide, so yes a little bigger but I would decrease my number of friends to have your room with your gear. LOL.
