Thinking about stacking (up/down) 2 Dell S718QL [UST] Will it work/possible?

So i'v been using the S718QL for about 2 years on a very bright environment. I'v had a S718QL in another room and recently bought the LG, So i have another S718QL available.

1. Im thinking about putting another S718QL celling mounted above the other S718QL. Using a good hdmi splitter will this work in terms of the picture motion being synced? assuming i will get the pictures exactly 1 on top of the other. What worries me most is doing all this and then the picture wont sync properly.

2. Right now with 1 S718QL in daytime the image looks washed out, even with its 4000 or so lumens, in a setup with 2 assuming the picture motion syncs well will it make a significant deference?

Using a good hdmi splitter like this - https://www.amazon.com/gofanco-Proph...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

I think getting them lined up perfectly will be a challenge. But since you have two projectors, you might as well try it.

Assuming they are lined up perfectly, do you think the picture motion will act the same or at least look good? if one projector wont run the or process the image exactly the same?

Considering the cost of these USTs why not just buy ALR screens and perhaps blinds

This is a better idea in the long run.

If the image looks washed out with one projector, having 2 will not solve the problem. Copious amounts of light only give more visibility to areas with highly saturated colors.

I have the Elite Aeon CLR it helps but nothing special.

I was thinking of putting an almost complete black 1.0 gain regular screen and then use the 2 up/down 5000 lumens UST projectors to overcome whatever light hits the black screen.

Because it's wasted money with CLR screen, it's not for UST projectors you need ALR screen designed for USTs.

You will find ton of "ALR", "CLR" cheap screens on Amazon, but they are not for USTs.

This is the only one I know for fixed screen that's specifically for UST which was available on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/VAVA-Ultra-Pr...creen-100-Inch. Aside from that you will most likely will have to contact manufacturers directly.

Personally, I am also waiting for these screens to become available on Amazon and drop in price.
