Price no objective -

What is it for?

Screen dimension and fabric?

Projection environment, wall color?

Aren't color wheels synonymous with the screen door effect?

If price is no object than Sony VW5000 .
If price is really really no object ( at least couple hundred thousand ) than Christie Eclypse porjector.

JVC DLA X590/RS440 / BenQ LK970
madVR HTPC with 1080ti / Lumagen radiance pro 4242
Arendal 1723 LCR Monitors / M&K S150 Surrounds in 5.1.4 atmos setup / Yamaha AX2050 AVR / MiniDSP88BM audio processor/ beta3 6 channels Amp .

The LK990 is the budget choice definitely not the "price is no object" choice. As others indicated, if price is no object, the Sony 5000ES is a far better choice than the LK990. The Christie Eclipse is the best it gets but in the 6 figures range plus and also may require a projection room.

Video: JVC RS4500 135" screen in pure black room no light, htpc nvidia 1080ti.
Audio: Anthem mrx720 running 7.1.4, McIntosh MC-303, MC-152, B&W 802d3 LR, B&W HTM1D3 center, B&W 805d3 surround, B&W 702S2 rear, B&W 706s2 x 4 shelf mounted for atmos, 2 sub arrays both infinite baffle: 4x15 fi audio running on behringer ep4000 + 4x12 fi audio running on 2nd ep4000.

No, color wheels and their color frequency is associated with a color tearing effect referred to as rainbows.

The screen door effect is in reference to pixel fill or the space between the pixels, lcd often has the largest pixel gap, lcos the smallest, with good dmds not far behind lcos.

Typically these threads are in the "money is no object" section, curious why posted in the everyday working peoples section.

If the OP is anything like I was before going down the rabbit hole...they probably thought 10k would get them the best of the best and there’d be no need to quibble and split ends over the “cheap stuff” 😃

No response from OP. I don't think this was for a real purchase at all.
