JVC sent out the coupon January 3rd. I posted it back then on another forum.

WOW How often do they do these rebates? I am in the market for a new projector my old Epson 5020UB died on me during the holidays. I am planning on getting an NX-7 just waiting to see if JVC releases anything new this year.

If anything new is announced this year, that will happen in September at CEDIA. If a dealer has a good relationship with his Rep, then the Rep probably sent it to the dealer.

They had this for the N5/7/9 at least in Canada from mid November until I think end of December or end of this month. Sent in my rebate stuff about 3-4 weeks ago and still waiting for it to show up. I’m hoping I see something next week cause I’m getting a bit nervous

Pooh! I got some good relations with my Reps (3 )...and I just got the word from "one" yesterday. Might'a made some little bit'a difference these last 2 weeks.

Well I'm glad it's at least somewhat commonly known....sounds like this post at least has some "heads up" value going for it.

Many thanks for the free lamp URL. It applies to the RS2000. Do you think JVC will accept the S/N from an NX5, as you know, the identical projector.

The NX5 is the lower priced projector and is the same as the RS1000 with no free bulb. The NX7 is the same as the RS2000 and they both have the free bulb deal for this month. At least with the free bulb it helps with the price increase.

I know this thread is mostly for stateside users, but happy to say that my NX7 bulb finally arrived from JVC Canada after 8+ weeks of waiting. I was really starting to think I wasn’t going to see it, but it did.

JVC did it for RS1000/NX5, RS2000/NX7 and RS3000/NX9 buyers, early on, duee to the shipping delay.

I think it was more for good will. While most were not happy with waiting, few actually jumped ship, since thee projectors were so good. Now the lamp is a promotion, but keep in mind, if you do not buy from an authorized dealer, you will not get the lamp.

What I said is correct, because JVC continued the promotion for February and March.

mike i believe you however i am unable to find anything on the jvc website to confirm the promotion. i found rebate forms from 2019 while searching for the free bulb promotion, but nothing for 2020. do you by any chance have a link for the form? im trying to decide between the nx5 and nx7 and a free bulb (which i probably won't ever need) would make the decision a bit easier. thank you for the info.

Any authorized dealer should have it. Shoot me an email and I can send it to you.

****Remember if you do participate in this offer, test the bulb in your projector when you get it, would stink to try to use the bulb 3 years from now and it does not work, your warranty will be long over. Not to mention bulb warranties are tricky to begin with.****
