JVC DLA-NX7 projecting to a 110" 1.2 gain screen in low lamp mode. 550 hours on the lamp. HTPC is my only video source.

This thing still impresses me on a daily basis. The contrast ratio and color "pop" are just out of this world for a projected image. Here it is showing a 4k/60 YouTube video, which is admittedly not the best source, but WOW...that detail!

I can vouch for that movie too. Very entertaining and superb picture rendition.

Stunning picture. Love it.
Any pics from any movies?

How close are your front seats there? They seem super close, but I assume it is just the perspective.

This one scared the 3 year old nephew so I took a pic of it. I think he thought it was going to keep getting closer.

It reminded me of when projection was first invented they made a B&W movie of a locomotive coming down the tracks looking like it was going to come out of the screen. People seeing their first ever motion picture got scared and ran from the theater as to not be killed.

God Bless!
A good way to test your Iris on your projector is on the Spears and Munsil disc. Go to Video processing then select Luminance Loading. Don't stare directly at the lens but on an angle and you can actually see the Iris at work.

Dog got me up at 5:30am this morning so just spent the last couple of hours watching Le Mans 66, awesome movie and even the 1080P is still superb quality though no doubt up there with the brilliants of 4K HDR.

And spent the last 20 minutes taking photos. LOL

Created a link to the images in a Dropbox folder as I think it offers even better quality.

Fantastic pictures there!

Will have to take some of my own of that one.

I loved the bit where the Ferrari crapped out on that long straight from being pushed too hard.

What I used to do with my VW90ES was to play UHDs and have the 4K player convert them to 1080p but with the 12bit deepcolour intact. It beat the bluray on colours, gradations and even detail.
