It's a Star Wars binge. Epson 5040UB projected onto a 159" Da-Lite HP 2.8 screen.

A good way to test your Iris on your projector is on the Spears and Munsil disc. Go to Video processing then select Luminance Loading. Don't stare directly at the lens but on an angle and you can actually see the Iris at work.

This is from my iPhone 11 max pro I guess it’s the best I can do with the phone. Should actually invest in a DSLR

Watched it last night

LOL, yup you are correct, not sure why I thought June. Either way, I don't get the lag in the release of discs.

No, can't see a need for it these days. Maybe it varies by studio/distributor?

Post JVC RS4500, Stewart (Firehawk) 1.35 Gain, 123" 16x9 W/4-way remote masking

Guys,

Pitch BLACK H/T all pictures taken with hand-held Samsung Galaxy S9 cellphone.
These are just a mix of all sorts of things I've watched in 1080p, 4K & HDR from Hard-Disc to Streaming from Netflix, Amazon and Dish.
(They cover all the time I've had the RS4500 laser projector after it was Custom-Calibrated)
JVC RS4500 has been Custom Calibrated by Chad B from Ohio.
It ^^^ now has 3,700 hrs. on it since 10-17-2018.

Chad B doing his thing ...............

Just watched Eagle Eye, brilliant movie though not a great visual movie if you get what I mean.

Really odd thing is happening when taking last photo, don’t know if this is a fault or design of the iPhone but the image should be quite yellow but for some reason it has changed it what you can even see in the pause bar compared to the other images. It is due to the amount of a single colour on the screen?

A good way to test your Iris on your projector is on the Spears and Munsil disc. Go to Video processing then select Luminance Loading. Don't stare directly at the lens but on an angle and you can actually see the Iris at work.
