My G90 is getting long in the tooth , my red tube is shorted and so my color is way off. The sharpness is still spot on but really need to do something. I came across a VPL-FHZ700L which I might get get sub 1k . My room is bright so having a super bright projector would be nice . I'm floor mounted into a 16x9 dayllite screen so I think the throw will be fine. Just wondering about the contrast ratio.
Thanks
David

Business class projector, so contrast will not be very good. But you also are not paying very much.

Since when did we start believing manufacturer's specs, especially for contrast?

Hey all

"I have a couple brand new Runco Q-750i. For those that dont know, its a single chip 1080p DLP LED projector. that means NO color wheel, amazing contrast and color. I have standard and long lenses available. I dont have the original boxes, but it will be well packed. I aquired them when Runco was cleaning out inventory.

$800 plus actual shipping. pics https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...j2?usp=sharing

Here's what I'd buy. Pretty great price for an amazing projector. Use a high gain screen (or maybe you already have one). Done.
