Has anyone tested this antenna out? Doesn't seem to be much online about it.

It just looks like they covered a 2 bay bowtie or fat dipole array and two vhf dipoles in plastic so their 75 mile range claim is about twice what i would expect to see and for $115 there are many better choices out there

I am looking to buy one. Which one would you suggest that might get out to 75 miles or so?

Without knowing where you live, the stations you're trying to get, where you're putting the antenna nor the topography and other stuff around you, we can't begin to suggest anything.

That's why there's this big ol' sticky thread at the top of the section. Read that, post your information and we'll give it a go.

There's no antenna that can guarantee 75 mile reception because the system isn't designed for those sort of distances. For most people 50-60 miles is about it and the distance can be less than that if your antenna is blocked by buildings, vegetation or terrain.

Reliable reception beyond 50-60 miles typical requires special circumstances such as the transmitting antennas at exceptionally high elevation and the receiver in a favorable location.

I have reliable reception of my "local" stations in Tucson over a 1 edge 77 mile path because the transmitting antennas are at 8700' and my antennas have an otherwise unobstructed view to the transmitters.
