OTA audio question

Im cutting the cord, but Ive run into a problem. I used to run the HDMI from my DirecTv DVR to my A/V receiver which gave me my audi. Now all I have is the coax to go to my TV (Pioneer Elite) which doesnt have built in speakers. I prefer my A/V rcvr to manage the audio. Looking at the back of my rcvr, I dont see any coax for tv antenna input. So my question is, other than hooking speakers to my TV, is there a way to run the OTA signal through my receiver for the ausio? Thanks.

Optical from the TV to the audio receiver.
(just guessing without make and model numbers of the TV and audio receiver. )

Again. Would need to know model of your display and receiver. ARC might also be an option. Have you considered getting an OTA device like the TIVO? It will work like your Directv box, have extended guide data, and allow you to record programming.

What the others have said in this thread are correct. I went with a STB that has HDMI out.

The audio from this unit is surprisingly good.
