4k UHD over Cat6
Hi all, need some advice... (I think I'm in the right forum but if not, please let me know where it should go and I can shift it.)
Here's my current setup:
Xfinity4k PX013ANM --> Yamaha TSR-7850 --> AGPtek 1080p sender --> Cat6 shielded (~65 ft) --> AGPtek 1080p receiver --> Sony XBR-65X900F
I would like to take advantage of 4k from the Xfinity box (as well as anything else I might plug into the AVR) so I tried the Orei 4k extender (amazon B07RC4JTS4) and it was intermittent. It's not HDBaseT, so I am wondering of I need to go to HDBaset, or if I should try to run an HDMI cable.
If HDBaseT, has anyone heard of this from Ezcoo? (amazon B07WC678VT) For that matter, has anyone heard of ezcoo?
There are only three reviews, all 5 stars, but all three of the reviewers only have 1 or 2 reviews to their name, so I'm a bit dubious of their authenticity.
(Apologies I don't have enough points to post links. I'm a filthy casual who mostly just reads here.)
