Talking Panasonic PT-D4000U 4000 Lumen 1024x768 DLP Home Theater/Event Projector $375 Shipped

I have for sale a very nice, well maintained Panasonic PT-D4000U 4000 Lumen 1024x768 (XGA) Liquid Cooled single chip DLP projector for sale. This projector was removed from a premium hom theater for upgrade reasons.

Condition wise, the projector is in excellent used condition, but is missing the lamp cover, and has one minor surface crack on the top white cover/panel. The lamp switches will need to bypassed to use without a lamp cover. (I can do that upon purchase if the buyer wants me to) Other than that there are a few minor dings here or there from being uninstalled, but overall the projector still looks very presentable, and has absolutely NO dust buildup whatsoever throughout the entire projector, it is VERY clean.

Functionally, this projector works absolutely perfect. It comes with 2 ET-LAD40 lamps, and a Panasonic TKGF0127 Standard motorized zoom lens. All inputs, functions, and features work perfect. The projector has 8 internal test patters, lamp relay mode (if one lamp fails the other takes over to keep the machine operational) Lens shutter, Motorized focus, zoom and vertical lens shift, manual horizontal lens shift, re-usable filters and loads more.

The projector has BNC Composite video in, S-Video in, RGBHV (also Y/Pb/Pr) in, VGA/D-Sub in, and DVI-D in as well. With this projector you are also able to fully control every single function of the projector with any device that uses a web browser, over a network or internet if the projector is connected to one.

The projector can easily display an 80 inch image at about 9ft distance from the screen, and obviously the further you go back the bigger it gets. The contrast is also quite good for such a bright unit.

Features of the projector:

-Liquid Cooled DMD XGA chip
-complete sealed optical block to prevent dust build-up on the DMD chip
-Dual 200 Watt lamps
-4000 Lumens brightness
-Ultra-silent operation - so quiet, a pin could drop next to it and you would hear it clear as day.
-Full network control of the projector options/features - Sit at your computer, tablet, or any other device that uses a web browser to control every function of the projector
-RGBHV BNC, 15 Pin D-SUB (VGA) input, HDCP DVI input, BNC Composite, and S-Video inputs
-Motorized focus, zoom, and vertical lens shift
-mechanical horizontal lens shift
-re-usable filters - comes with 2 new filters
-Full color calibration control
-Digital Cinema Reality for Composite & S-Video source devices
-Lamp, lens, and air intake temperature monitoring
-run either lamp separately, or use both at the same time.

Included with the projector:
-2 200 Watt Genuine Matsu****a/Panasonic lamps with 1960 hours total use each out of 3000. (1040 hours remaining, 520 2 hour movies)
-TKGF0127 Motorized lens
-Power cable

In short, one of the best XGA units available. Excellent for outdoor use, indoor use, anywhere you want a SUPER BRIGHT and punchy image.
Included in the photos are 2 screenshots of "Poseidon 2006", both being projected onto a glass beaded screen, image size is 81 inches diagonal, projector is about 9ft away from the screen, running at 1024x768, no color calibrations done, both lamps running in the projector.

Payment is preferred through paypal only please. Shipping & paypal fees will be paid at my expense, all you pay for is the projector! Projector will be very safely packaged in a double walled box and shipped USPS Priority Mail or USPS Parcel Select.

Price for the projector is $375 shipped in the continental 48 USA states only. Price includes projector, shipping, paypal fees.

My Home Theater Thread

The real honest reason I am using my Bose, is because one of the JBL woofers blew out.
