Looking to sell my barely used 50" Pioneer 111FD, in perfect condition. Was purchased new in early 2009 from Value Electronics and used for roughly one year. Plasma was broke in using the color slides. It's been in storage inside my buffet lift-stand ever since.

I've been deployed overseas and will be home in 2 weeks. Would like to have this plasma picked up before memorial day.

Thanks for any interest! Mike

Mike,

Would love to buy your tv. Please email if you are willing to have me send someone to pick up the tv for me (a specialty shipper).

Cheers,

Rich

Rich-

No problem. If you'd like a shipper to come pick it up, that would work fine with me. Let me know...

Thanks!

Mike

I do not have the original packaging. However, we can repackage and ship if you'd like. We can possibly acquire new packaging material at my local best buy.

Hello Stegan,

Yes, still for sale. There are many threads on AVS that discuss the Pioneer in depth. Here is one that I found:

https://www.avsforum.com/forum/167-pl...-category.html

Hope that helps a little. Mike

So, since you've been back home for several months, has the panel been seeing regular use or have you replaced it with something else for your regular viewing?

Pioneer, Plasma Flat Panel, 1080 p, 50” PRO-111FD
Original Owner, purchased from Magnolia Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Local pickup only. Original Box not available. This TV is in excellent condition. Comes with Stand, speakers, remote and manual.”
I could not access the hours on this TV because it cannot be done through the remote. You have to use the software through a computer that would be used by a technician on this particular model. With that said, I did locate our receipt from Magnolia. We purchased the TV in Sept of 2008 when they first came out. Calculating using an average of 8 hours a day from the date of purchase, the number of hours of usage would be approximately 20,000. We have always had at least 2 TV’s in our house, so this would not have been the only one that we had available to use.

A plasma TV with a 100,000-hour lifespan would leave you with approximately 80% of the life of the TV remaining based on six (8) hours of usage a day since the date of purchase.

I am willing to provide a box or appropriate packaging material for your shipper if you are interested at $1,000 cash. If you are in need of HDMI cables in your business, I could also make you a deal on some of those. We have probably over 20 of those, various lengths.

Sorry for the late response. I have not used the panel since 2009. Was barely used for a year, has tons of life left. It has been stored inside my buffet stand. I have a 65" Panny doing all the work now.
