Mits 73827 Free for pickup - Chicago
No, it's not 100% but nearly. The set works fine picture-wise (no dots or halos) but has the problem of just clicking itself off at random. Some days it won't do it at all, other days it gets annoying. Requires 2 minutes to reboot, which is the annoying part.
This model has the dual ATSC tuners and the built in DVR, which only records from them, not external sources. There is a firewire port which I never found a use for and NetCommand which requires a degree from MIT to use.
I have the original remote, octopus IR thingy for the NetCommand and probably the original Owners Manual and possibly the service manual, but that might be a PDF, I forgot. No stand so don't ask.
It's free for the taking (Chicago-Albany Park area) but at 150 pounds, make sure you bring someone to help because I'm not going to. It's more or less on the 1st floor (4 or so steps to the sidewalk).
No takers by early february 2017, I'm taking a Sawsall to it.
No, it will not fit in your SUV, open bed pickup or truck/cargo vans only.
