-Austin, TX-

I'm really hoping someone here at AVS forum in the Austin area sees this and has a need, as I know folks here will much more greatly appreciate this than random Craigslist folks. I've finally moved on to OLED but the ol' Mits still runs great!

This is a fantastic TV that has held up through all of the technological "advancements" over the years. This is a true CRT-based rear projection television with none of the problems that DLP & LCD/LED have. You get actual black in the places there is supposed to be, and no strange motion artifacts like the "soap opera effect" or judder. Also no bulbs to replace!

While there is not an HDMI input, is does have a DVI input. Thus a cable with DVI on one end and HDMI on the other works perfectly well for getting the picture from modern accessories to the TV, you just have to route the sound separately. It also has 3 sets of full 1080i component inputs as well as a host of other connection options.

Since the TV is so large, it was designed to split in half: the speakers and all the electronics in the bottom half, and the screen in the top half. This made moving it into its current upstairs location much easier. It's still a beast though, the official listed total weight is 327lbs, but with it split up two guys were able to bring it up the stairs. Come pick it up and it's yours.
