So you fixed it?

It's strange it exceeds the screen when in fullscreen but not when maximized.

There might be other settings in the TV menu that move the picture around. Check those.

Also try MPC BE and don't change anything:

Changing to Home Theater works! Now I can set "Fit to screen" to On. Problem solved, thank you!

Hello MINDBOMB;

I have been using MPC-HC for a long time, so I am well versed in how it works. I just don't understand a couple of things.

1. Why are there two sections for changing the video display? (video frame and pan/scan). It does affect things when changing; stretch to window, touch from inside, and touch from outside. I just don't know what it's doing. They look the same some times which leads to my next question. B/c it has affected what should be the proper a/r. So what should I keep the video display section on? I keep the a/r on "default", but it does not seem to default to proper a/r in all files.

2. I use Media Info. A couple files (that are old 1080p) say the "display aspect ratio" is 16:9. However when playing the file in 16:9 or "Default", the display comes out as 2:40:1? I can scale to 16:9 in pan/scan section but I can not like other files change the A/R in "video frame". Obviously it has the same result, but I should not have to do either since according to Media Info it is 16:9? So is Media Info's data incorrect for the 1080p files? Some of the 1080p files are 2:40:1 and display correctly in Default.

3. In order to play files with 2160p res. I have to use the EVR. So is it a correct statement that you can only change the video display in "system default" and EVRcp, not the regular EVR?
