Raspberry Pi 4 as HTPC?

May be a bit early but wondering if the Pi4 will make a suitable HTPC and handle bit streamed true Atmos?

AFAIK MadVR requires windows. As of right now there is no windows port for this model and even if there was it wouldn't run very well as it would completely eat all system resources.

The Pi4 looks pretty sweet. I am tempted to buy one just to play around with.
