need advice upgrade flakie TV tuner w/ Hauppauge 2250

Would like to upgrade flakie TV tuner w/ Hauppauge 2250
HTPC description in sig. currently using free OTA antenna but would like the option of cable, not sure how a cable box can be controlled w/ the colossus maybe w/ software, I’m thinking colossus won’t work as OTA only cable.
The silicon dust SD is a decent tuner however my Hauppauge 1800 hardly ever fails to not record a program. When the rare occasion of only partial recording it’s from the SD.
I’ve always wanted (even more so now after been using the 1800 for 10+ years) the Hauppauge 2250 dual tuner.
?1. or is there a better PCI express tuner available?maybe this HAUPPAUGE WINTV-QUADHD PCIE CARD WITH 4 TV TUNERSI’d like three tuners in one PCI express port I believe this intel57 MOBO has 3 PCIs 2 of which are express.
The Hauppauge 1800 has coax antenna connection
?2.will each Hauppauge card require coax antenna connection? and will they fit width wise to each other?

Decided to prioritize tuners like w/in W7MC I can designate
Hauppauge1800 #1
Hauppauge 2250 #2 & 3.

Then delegate SD to 4 & 5 this would require 3 physical antenna connections correct.
Edit: rarely are 3 channels are being recorded simultaneously .maybe I should ditch the SD In favor of one less antenna connection.I can check antenna strenght very efficiently W7MC

?3.Since W7MC was discontinued can Hauppauge software wintv be intergrated w/ windows10 to be used for DVR functions?

Thanks STB

I use a combination of Hauppauge tuners 1x each(1600, 2250, Quad) along with NextPVR and this works well for me. I get my guide data via SchedulesDirect and all this feeds my 3 ShieldTV's with KODI+NPVR Plug-in.

the Quad tuner looks good can you picture & picture two channels either same size or master, large, slave, small then swap between the two? master channel has pause & volume control capability.

I've attempted to install KODI unsuccessfully. what is Shield TV?

I'm thinking decent playback is achieved w/ combination of decent equipment including antenna, good tuner & healthy storage.

last week made improved playback w/ adjustments to antenna & replaced a older western digital 1TB RE3 daily record/watch/delete drive w/ new RE4 playback has improved w/ new RE4

so now time for decent tuner and ditch or relegate the SD. may just want the quad on it's own don't forsee a need for more than 3 tuners.

The QUAD tuner is ridiculously overpriced IMO and I wonder how much signal is lost with the internal splitter.
