What to look for in a mini keyboard?

What to look for in a mini keyboard?

I have a few KBs a wireless Logitech k520 I like it’s quality mainly this type of keys but kindof heavy to rest on lap, then the wired Acer sk9625 don’t like the elevated type buttons OK but tried of the wire even though I’m sitting 3’ away.

This is a work station PC (plain tried of on screen KB) but would like the option to obtain a second USB plug to use on HTPC only one PC is on at a time.

I would like a back light type MKB, undecided on mouse touch pad and curious
How well the mouse pointers function? Like can I play need for speed w/ the pointers?

Main use is to type. Screen shots regular KB ect.. Connecting to none blue tooth PC please suggest decent blue tooth dongle for use w/ PC in signature.

I rarely text on my phone because the keys are so small I fat finger a lot,(I have normal sized hands) so I’m undecided on what size KB to get, shying away from the tiny tinnie carry in pocket.

I would use as regular KB couple hours a day lighted up so would I be forced to recharge frequently.

Please advice to narrow my search
I kindof like the size of the Fosmon Portable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...2&tag=tcbse-20 however I forsee eye strain from it’s white light, I like colored lights proballly red.
Really like the colored battery strength lights.
Also forsee this small KB being dropped from my lap when standing up to the hardwood floor so I like the rubbery protection of the ri8
I have a mouse pad on my lazyboy so uncided on a builtin mouse

thanks for advice STB

I bought this: Rii i8+ 2.4GHz Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad Mouse,LED Backlit,Rechargable Li-ion Battery. I charge the battery every couple of weeks, but the battery has never ran empty. It's been perfect for my use, and I have no complaints.

I assume you're charging the battery w/ USB

I have a logitech harmony700 remote it came w/ 120VAC wall charger curious if it'safe to use, don't want any explosions.

I don't text much if ever, not sure about the learning curve of typing w/ thumbs.

I'll have to remove the wired KB for it's port. prefer install the amuwish an leave it installed don't want unplug devices to charge they skipped the how to charge in there video.

this tinie tiny keyboard is a joke

I have slightly larger than normal hands, it's way to small for me.

missing the print screen, raised comma (example I'm) a few other buttons.

the build quaility is extremly poor very flimsy, more chiesis garbage.

someone please suggest a next step down from regular sized KB one w/ like one set of #s

most importantly lighted. and wifi none blue tooth. or blue tooth w/ a dongle.
Thanks

I recently bought an inexpensive, $20.00, on Amazon.
It works great. Can't remember the name but it got good reviews.
I use it for renaming titles on my Zidoo media player. So much easier than using my iphone.

I have this and keys are decent sized, NOT blue tooth, it is rf, lighted, you do have a small dongle plugs into usb. Has good range and no need to have dongle freely pointed at you to work.

I`m leaning to HTPC type. Undecided on a touch pad builtin mouse.

the mini type just to small kindof like a game controller size.

Finding out there`s not many choices when it comes to Illuminated.especially w/ Logitechs.

I like Logitech`s quality.probably get a refurbed one of these.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Illu...6JQEMXBDCFD0WA

I`ll have to verify the K830 if this is wifi none blue tooth an has printscreen.

I`d like to purchase a second USB receiver for my workstation PC .note usually
Only one PC is on at a given time.STB

Update the weasels at amazone got really greedy w/ the $20 increase on the desired Logitech K830 from $60 to $80.

During my extensive searching I happened upon this this https://www.amazon.com/Rii-Dual-Mode...90871433&psc=1

Not sure how this flew under my radar ( I filtered w/ google but never saw this KB Rii K16
)
It is like a slitely larger mini but not full sized this could be the ultimate HTPC keyboard for my needs

Anyone using it.

New Rii K16 arrives Monday I`m anxious to try her out.

Initially I will use the USB receiver as
connection 1. the windows work station PC.

Connection 2, will be the HTPC so I will need a blue tooth dongle.please recommend which dongle to get. Will a attached dongle work as well as a builtin BT.
this PC is behind the TV so there`s currently no line of sight.

Connection 3. will be for my work station PCs Oontz angle 3 blue tooth speaker that is always powering itself off after X amount of none use, like I can leave room to say make a sandwich come back it`s off, kindof irritating. This third connection mite not work for powering up because when Oontz is off I physically press the on button.

Connection 4 will be for the seldom used android tablet
Also for my wireless depth./fish finder it is Blue tooth hopefully it will interface for quick labling of plotted navigated spots.

I`m hopping the lower left Mac button can be reprogrammed to a control button since I`m accustomed to ctrl in that location. Not sure how those Mac folks use this button I think it`s mouse related.
