10 bit or 12 bit color depth HEVC MKV with AMD Radeon RX 5500?

I have a HTPC Windows 10 with AMD Radeon RX 5500 video card. When I play 4K UHD HDR rips MKV from MakeMkv verified 10 bit with MediaInfo app my display device (Epson 5040UB) shows 8 bit. I'm running the HTPC through my Denon X6300H receiver.

The AMD Radeon Adrenalin console has a drop down for bit depth but only contains 8 bit in it.

So I'm trying to figure out if the AMD Radeon RX 5500 isn't capable of 10 or 12 bit depth or if something is awry. Related to that question when choosing a video card how would I know if it supports 10 bit or 12 bit with 4K MKV HEVC files?

The Windows 10 picture says you're using a 540X which is a laptop GPU, not a 5500.

I use a 5500XT discrete GPU and it can display 12bpc with an Epson 2150, but there's no point in even doing that as the colors get so washed out at 12bpc anyway
