Unhappy Dual output from 1080 graphics card to Denon AVR and Ultrawide

Hello,

I'm looking to get both an LG ultrawide (LG 34WK650) running with an LG Oled B7 (running via a Denon X2500 AVR via an ARC HDMI connection) off a GTX1080 GPU.

Both screens work separately and are recognised by Windows 10 (the LG Ultrawide and AVR show up in the Windows and Nvidia control panel) however the moment I try to duplicate screens or extend desktop they wont work together - the pc defaults to whatever the default screen is with the other turning off. The issue seems to be related to the Denon as when I circumvent the AVR everything works fine.

The Ultrawide runs off an DVI output and HDMI is used for the Denon connection.
Would anyone have any ideas as to why the devices will not work together?
Thanks for any assistance.

Long shot but have you tried using HDMI on the monitor so both outputs are HDMI connections?
