Image is over scanned on TV?

I have a macbook pro connected to my DENON AVR-X3600h which is connected to a 75" Samsung TV. Overall I am very happy with my setup, but the image is overscanned.

My macbook screen settings say to 'optimize for DENON AVR'. Is there any way to figure out why this image is overscaned? Is it the TV, the receiver, or the computer?

All TVs overscan by default. The key is to find a setting to turn off the overscan. That is different between different TV brands. Your best bet is asking the question in your TV's owners thread.
