Vlc - color in hdr is not accurate?

I'm comparing the picture quality between vlc and powerdvd 20 using several 4k hdr movies and find out that vlc has a bit more greenish tint in the picture (very evident in skin tone). Powerdvd's colors seem accurate since they are similar to the colors on my tv native media player which I use as the reference. Strangely, the colors between vlc and powerdvd 20 are the same for sdr movies. So vlc has issues in handling hdr colors?

Don't use VLC, use madVR capable players eg. mpc-hc/be, PotPlayer for accuracy.

Could you point me to the latest mpc be setup guide for 4k hdr?

*My setup:
PC (i5-8400, 16GB RAM, RTX 2080 Ti) connected to LG C9 OLED
*NVCP Settings:
RGB 8bit Full in SDR
