Positioning High Speakers for Atmos
I've recently purchased a couple of Definitive BP-9080X Atmos speakers. I have 4/Defniitive Pro Monitor1000 satellites and a Pro Monitor2000 for a center. I'm not enabling the A90's on top of the 9080's since I can use the 4/1000's on the ceiling. My question is, should I angle the 1000's higher, or keep them angled down to the listening area as it relates to Atmos? I've watched some 4K Ultra HD movies already and they sound very good, but am I missing anything by angling them down as I have them? I have an Onkyo TX-NR696 and I have no plan to add any more speakers than what I have in the pics. It took extreme negotiating just to get the 9080's on the floor. Wife hates floor speakers, but loves the way the theater sounds now with them... whew!
Maybe I'm in the wrong area. Please relocate me in the proper thread if need be.
