As part of 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s efforts to bring more of its catalog titles to Blu-ray Disc, the studio is letting fans decide which classic films will be offered in the HD format.

Fox has partnered with the Home Theater Forum film discussion website for “Voice Your Choice,” which lets fans choose one title each from the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s to be restored in HD. Voting is underway at HomeTheaterForum.com/a/fox-vote-your-choice and FoxConnect.com/voice-your-choice.

Nominees include:

1930s — Jesse James, Call of the Wild, The Little Princess, Steamboat Round the Bend and Swanee River

1940s — The Return of Frank James, Pin Up Girl, That Night in Rio, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, The Black Swan, Kiss of Death, My Gal Sal, Captain From Castile, To the Shores of Tripoli, The Blue Bird, My Friend Flicka, A Letter to Three Wives, Crash Drive, Mother Wore Tights and Hello Frisco, Hello

1950s — Don’t Bother to Knock, Cheaper by the Dozen, Carmen Jones, On the Riviera, Anastasia, Black Widow, Broken Lance, The True Story of Jesse James, The Tall Men, Desk Set, The Best of Everything, The River’s Edge, The Bravados, The Inn of the Sixth Happiness and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?

1960s — From the Terrace, Morituri, Two for the Road, North to Alaska, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Let’s Make Love, Do Not Disturb, The Agony and the Ecstasy, Back Door to Hell, How to Steal a Million, The Undefeated, The 300 Spartans, Can-Can, the 1968 Bedazzled and Bandolero!

Fans can also write in and submit additional titles. Voters can choose one title per decade per day.

In addition to Voice Your Choice, beginning this month Fox will release at least one catalog title on Blu-ray per month under the banner “20th Century Fox Studio Classics,” spanning the 1920s to 1960s. Selections for Jan. 15 include How Green Was My Valley, Wild River, Gentlemen’s Agreement and the 1953 Titanic. Future titles include Laura Feb. 5, Panic in the Streets March 26, Hello, Dolly! April 2 and Viva Zapata! May 7.

Those interested should vote on some of their favorite catalog titles to bring them to Blu-ray format faster.
