The Salks are beautiful. Is that a maple finish? It looks like it has some brown highlights to it which I like. Any issues with them so close to the back wall? I know the TL design doesn't require as much rear space as a bass reflex but have you ever experimented with moving them out some and noticed a sound difference?

I think Salk calls it Flame/Crimson Maple - yeah, I like the highlights as well.

I have about 8-9 inches of clearance from the port to back wall. Jim (salk) reccomends about 12 inches - when I pulled them out to 12-14inches, I didn't really notice any differrence so I put it back to 8 inches where cosmetically and foot traffic wise it functions better.

Lovely setup!
But Winston beat them all, proper Mastiff hard to be replaced.

Interesting, will definitely take note with hiding the subs with flowers always a good idea.

What do you think of the tweeters? I just got a pair of 18.0c's and now the back of my brain keeps wondering how their speakers hold up .

Very nice! What stands are you using for your rear surrounds?

Nice Madhu!

I know you’ve auditioned quite a few amplifiers and processors.

Did you find much difference in them if any and is the ATI what you have finally settled on for the main lifting?

Hey chris, I think for my use - TV/Movies at “family” volumes - a lot of the amps are pretty
interchangaeable. (with that disclaimer most i’ve had are quality amps)

The one thing that jumps out about the ATI signature is noise floor - it is dead silent whereas every other amp
i’ve had has had some degree of hiss.

With help from @SteveH - I can't say enough good things about him - redid everything this summer with the intent to stop swapping things in/out for a long while.

JTR gloss black sub - found one big sub works better than two "smaller" (yet still big) subs WAF wise

Revel F206 tower - overkill for surround, but a tower worked better with all the other (kids) stuff we have
very nice configuration and well setup! Thanks for sharing

Could it be that you are ready to stop dating around and settle down? I'm really looking forward to this next chapter in your saga.

You may want to take the SSP with you on break since I know where you live.
