@EricE - Nice set-up man! I'm local to you and wanted to know if you'd be willing to demo your system. I can do the same (8 x ported 18's, fusion-15 tower, custom Radian surrounds, lots of power, dirac, etc).

PM sent.

Thanks for the kudo's guys. Just getting back into the HT game again after being dormant for a while (no new toys...) Just got the midbass sub and now thinking of going 4K with a new projector.

I love how clean and organized your room is. It's obvious that you put a ton of thought into this layout.

Finally into the 4K UHD HDR world with a new JVC X570R projector.

Currently testing with:
Amazon FireTV with SPMC 4K output
Samsung UBD-K8500
Panasonic DMP-UB900

waiting for Sony UBP-X800 and Panasonic UB400... Takes a bit longer to get up here in Canada.

Nice system Eric.

I see you are using the UB900 with your JVC. How do you like it? Have you purchased the HD Fury Linker to get DI working on your JVC?

Would be very interesting to see how the UB400 compares to the UB900 with the JVC.

I have the JVC RS500 and am looking for a UHD player but have not made the purchase yet.

Hi Frank,

Yes I have the HD Fury Integral with the UB900 and I get perfect WCG rec.2020 without HDR. I think in the latest series of JVC eshift projectors you can run HDR mode with or without DI at least that is what I can do with my X570R which is identical to the RS420.

I have also tried the Samsung UHD player and it was close and could actually play more varied files through DNLA and my home network.

I'm waiting for the new Sony X800 to come out and I will test it against the new Panasonic UB400. I will keep the winner between those two. I think the video hardware between the UB400 and the UB900 are identical with the $200 difference going to the audio circuits.
