There was a small budget movie just a few years back where everyone on the planet lost their sense of small, then taste, then hearing, then eyesight, etc... I can't remember the name.. but it was quite good.

As good ol' Jack said.. "Why so serious..."
If I needed one scary one, it will be "Shining"

But in times like this, I prefer to watch warm cuddly stuff, so I'll be watching:
"Love Actually" and "Definitely Maybe".

There's already so much sadness and pain, I prefer to watch some nice warm movies with a cup of warm chicken soup...

Yup, I remember how weird it was that both movies came out so close to each other. I like Deep Impact, too, a lot, but it's not one I watch over and over again like I do Armageddon.

I like nice warm movies too. Here is a pretty decent one:

The Day the Earth Caught Fire (1961) -- doesn't get much warmer than that.

Features a love story between an intrepid reporter and telephone operator... oh, and the Earth gets thrown off its axis and has some mild climate change issues.

One oldie I’d recommend - Soylent Green (1973) starting Charlton Heston and featuring Edward G. Robinson in his last film role. It’s based on the 1966 sci-fi novel Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison. I’d also recommend the very strange but very interesting 2013 pic by Bong Joon Ho, Snowpiercer with Chris Evans, Ed Harris, Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer, and the late John Hurt.

And to add insult to injury, you can get Mad Max in 4k DV in iTunes US - but NOT in Australia!
What a franchise, director George Miller doing all the films and self-financed the original $400,000 with a partner to make the first film and Miller was some kind of medical examiner that dealt with serious auto accidents. Just an incredible vision. Most profitable movie ever until Blair Witch. A lot of shots with cameraman on the bikes.

I think the track has some vocal issues and you need to tune your sound to maximize. The Dolby Vision does look nice (just watched the film again last night, but don't think its full width as seen in clip below).

I have 0.0 problem understanding the accent as I live in Auz for a year in my younger years and worked a lot with international customers (heavy Scottish accent is the worst and I got it, but my colleagues little hope) The hilarious and wrong thing is they thought that for the original movie in the USA dubbing even Mel Gibson's voice with just some singing escaping being dubbed:
Post-apocalyptic music

Didn't know this, but love the original toe cutter character and amazed to see he played Joe in the last film
