We saw a new JVC Native 4k Projector out at the CEDIA show

Hey guys. Just want everyone to know that JVC has a new 4k Projector coming out towards the end of 2019. It's called the JVC LX-NZ3. Perhaps an admin member can start an official JVC LX-NZ3 Owners Thread? This thing looks pretty cool.

3000 Lumens
Native 4k
Manual Lens shift - Vert and Hoz
Black housing
Laser light source
The JVC Rep said $3699 price point

I saw this thing first hand and made a video on it. It looks really good. Huge brightness, good contrast, and colors. I have a Sony 295es at home and this certainly has caught my eye.

Doesn't "laser" mean not DLP?

Update: Oh wait. It is not a laser proj., is is a laser lamp DLP:https://hdguru.com/jvc-unveils-4k-dl...-light-source/

Very intriguing, I use masking panels so no need for lens memory, love the lumens and laser.

Listening with Focal Elex headphones, Topping DSD Dac, SENCUN-audio tube preamp with tone control and Modded Little Dot hybrid tube amp with Voshkod 6ZH1P-EV tubes, Dual Discrete Op-Amp SS3602, and Alps Blue Velvet volume pot.

Watching in a room ensconced in velvet.

I fear rainbow distortion. I could even see some briefly in the lens flare during this video:

would be nice to have more specs, I had a DLP and never saw Rainbows ever but I think it depends on the speed of the color wheel. Currently, I have a JVCX500 which still throws a great image after 5 years and 1000s of hours but a PJ able to do a decent job at HDR and laser is really appealing.

It looks like a near clone of the JVC LX-UH1 with its UHP lamp replaced by a laser light source as discussed in other threads.
