I'm looking for a nice pre-made lighted and personalized "CINEMA" or "THEATER" sign to put over the entry door of our home theater.

I did a net search and a forum search, most of the forum hits were over a year old and it's hard to rely on net info without references.

So, can anyone comment on sign sources?

Thank you.

Try Walmart...several folks purchased one from there. CaptRandy and a few others modified one from
there.

Depends how much you want to spend also, there are some much nicer ones but they get pricey quick ($500+).

Depending on how much you are willing to spend you can check out StargateCinema.com they have a large assortment (including lighted signs) of HT items.

I'm currently looking for an LED personalized theater sign. Htmart.com has better pricing than StargateCinema.com on these. Has anyone bought one and can post a pic?

I bought mine from here:

http://www.hollywoodmarquees.com/gallery1.htm

I'm very pleased with the quality. They'll design it just the way you want it, and the price was reasonable.

How long ago did you purchase from this company? The website is a bit of a mess (missing links/photos, etc). I was just wondering if they were still in business.

After viewing their website, I wondered the same thing. Products look good though.

I bought it about 7 months ago. Try emailing [email protected] and see what response you get.

I very highly recommend Hollywood Marquees. I just received a Custom Marquee with Letter-rak just before Christmas, and the quality of the sign is outstanding. It looks even better than the pictures on the site IMHO.

The nice part is, they will customize the signs pretty much any way you want, including colors, type, length and placement of cord, etc.

Better than that, however, is the customer service--Aimee is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you want. She also answers email very quickly, and will email you examples of various designs. The shipping is amazingly fast and packing is first rate (I would read the unpacking directions very carefully to avoid damage--they pack these things very well).

They also sell their marquees on ebay as well.

Bottom line: very glad to have bought one of these, and am looking to perhaps get a lit poster case from them as well.

PS: I've no financial relationship or any other relationship with this company--just a satisfied customer.

I second your comments about the company, including Aimee. She sent me example images, and really paid attention to my comments. Great job all around.

Actual pictures of Hollywood Marquees products would be great if anyone would post them!

Hollywood Marquees website only has one obscure photo that I can find.

Thank you.

Sorry to dig up this thread, but does anyone have contact info for Aimee? It appears she has gone out of business, but I want to contact her and make sure.
