Looking at possibly doing a "digital" poster frame.

Before I do I want to track down hi-res (1080p or very close to it) images that I can make a library of and then run as a slideshow type deal on an LED TV hanging on the wall.

Anyone know of a good place to find something like this?

Check out The Hunger Games poster is 2025x3000 for the largest size. Not every poster is going to be that large, but it is a good place to get the posters from, especially if you are ripping DVD's and needing cover art.

I know this is an old, old thread, but I just created my first digital poster frame. The lack of downloadable libraries forced me to figure out a way to do this quickly. I gathered all the posters I want to display from various sources and ran them through a script to make them all the same size. every image is 1080 x 1620. I then ran them through another script expand the canvas size to 1080 x 1920 and placed a new graphic over the top with a top and bottom header to fill in the gaps. The last step was to run them through a third script to rotate them 90 degrees clockwise so the media player I am using will display them correctly. This is what the final posters look like.before rotation. They can be easily rotated 180 degrees in the even you turned your TV clockwise before mounting it. I have 860 posters in total.
