Chiming in for a feature that I now very much appreciate on the Addison microfiber that we purchased a few weeks ago. My youngest had decided to retract the recliner without removing some toys that he had placed in front of and below the extended foot rest. I didn't realize it until it was too late....CLUNK! was the noise. To my surprise, the lower segment of the footrest has a reverse spring hinge that prevents damage from occurring from situations like this. No harm was done to the chair at all (or the toys) thanks to that mechanism. I don't know if this is a common feature found on recliners nowadays but I'm certainly glad that these chairs have it.

Not all recliners have this. We use the Leggett and Platt recliner mech the best in the business. Many other recliners out there don't use this mech.

Theater seating

Hello Mr.Alan,

Please check my theater room details in the pictures. Looking for space saver seating. Need 4 seat recliner (With middle love seat) for Row 1 and 3 seat recliner for Row 2. Currently looking at Warwick, Belmont along with Lagoon and Escape from Fusion collection We've got in-wall 7.4.4 system with AT screen. Also what is a good way to contact you (email or phone) to discuss other details.

Thanks,
Naga.

Thanks for the post and the interest.. It looks like you have quite a bit of width it says 196", if you use about 24 inches on each side you have 142 for usable space. You could probably do 2 rows of 4 as you have plenty of space. You really could put any style seat you want in that space. You could possibly look at Sheffield and clark as well.

You can contact me by email sales "at" htmarket "dot" com or 888-764-9273.

Alan Hutchinson

Have a narrow room 11’6” x 23’ deep. Considering 2 rows of 3. Seating distance consideration of ~12’ for row one and 18-19’ for row 2 with a 120” diagonal 16:9 screen. Considering Belmont or Sheffield due to space saver design and leaning Belmont (would let me have a 2.5’ walkway to row 2 on one side and still a 1.5’ separation from wall on far side). I am 6’1 however. Any thoughts or considerations? Thanks for the help.

I think Belmont is your best bet, leaving a bit more space than the Sheffield. It gives you room get out of the seats. The one side almost 3 feet is good perhaps you sit on that side. The good news is you have plenty of depth so you can have the proper viewing distance. I redid the measurements and they are pretty much dead on right. I will say the row of 3 comes closer to 88.5 on the bottom of seats as we measure from cupholder to cupholder which are rounded outwards, so you really have an extra inch on each side using belmonts on bottom.

Contact me by email if you want as well alhutch "at" htmarket "dot" com

Are you guy's able to have people in to the show room yet? If so I was going to call and see if I could possibly get in this weekend! I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 4 piece Bellmont with love seat in the middle bu t since I'm about 40 minutes away I'd love to be able to come take a look first hand at the real difference between the Belmont and the Warwick. My room is about roughly 126" wide so 114" would be my max I could do. I've been wanting a row of theater seating for a long time and like the look of what you offer. Here is a pic of the back wall. here are a couple older pictures but gives you an idea of the space I have.

Both those styles will work for you. We can't let anybody in our showroom yet according to rules of Illinois. We have not heard anything yet but I am betting June 1 we can start doing showroom appointments again. We will have some rules though, like customers need to wear a mask and limiting appointments to under 30 minutes. We are shipping though and have shipped lots of chairs lately as everybody stuck at home are ordering seats.

Belmont and Warwick are very similar they have the same design and frame. The only difference is the Belmont has power headrest and a double stitch on the seem.

Based on photo looks like they will be a good fit in that space, depends if you want the power headrest that's the main difference.

Regards,
Alan

quick question on the belmonts. How much recliner clearance do you need to the wall? I currently have a narrow ledge table on the back wall and the current couch goes right up to that. I'm trying to see what I'd need to do to modify it in height and with for the belmont. I'm thinking I can raise it up to the top of the seatbacks. I guess I'd have to wait to see what it looks like once the seats would be in place to see what else I'd need to do to make it look ok.

Yes you might need to move as you need about 6 inches with belmonts as the power headrest goes up and when seat reclined needs a bit more space.

Alan

I am a little late, but we ordered some seats right at the start of the quarantine as we needed somewhere to go!

Alan I appreciate the help and great service shipping out these four Warwick seats! Straight row with center loveseat.

(sorry for the bad pic)

For anyone looking the leather is very good quality and feels great to lay on for an extended period. I would recommend them!

Trying get HT completed with recliners.
Room width is 174", but speaker column (6") reduce available width to 162".

To start with I am thinking of 4 recliners with access only through left side, behind right side I have a bar counter coming out approximately 10" from wall.

I have few question,
- Does HTDesign have seat options with diamond pattern?
- Does the seats have memory recall functionality for power recline, lumbar, and headrest?
- How you grade the quality of the leather?

I will contact you over email for possible build.

We don't have diamond pattern but we have many other nice designs. We do have the memory function for recline and headrest in the HT Design Clark. It does not do it with lumbar.

You should look at HT Design Clark that has the memory function and the power lumbar, power headrest and the power recline.

All the seats we have that come in leather have top grain leather high grade leather.

Alan

New Product Home Theater Back Row Bar

We developed a new back row bar, allows people to add a row of seating in about 36" footprint.
I have video on you tube and it's on our web site.

This is another option to building your own bar, it's very user friendly measure 101 long by about 18.5 inches deep and 42" high.

Fits comfortably behind a row of 3 or 4 theater seats. Fits 4 bar stools. Any questions post here or contact us.

Regards,
Alan

Custom ordered 8 Sheffields in brown. Very pleased overall. High quality leather, solid construction, quiet motors, and great aesthetics.

Thanks, Alan. Really enjoyed doing business with you and Tom. You guys are a class act.

Took a few more pics this morning with a better camera. Think these show off the chairs a little better. Know it was helpful for me to look at every picture I could find when I was trying to decide!
