Well worth it!

I looked at a ton of different theater room seating options, trying to find just the right one for my newly built theater room and I have not been disappointed with my decision. This theater seating set is amazing! It was important to me to find seating that had true high-grain breathable leather because I sweat in the crappy bonded stuff. Also, I wanted it to be powered, have a recline and head rest setting as well as some cool lighting. This set not only checked off everything on my list but also has a powered lumbar setting as well.

It is easy to assemble and each piece arrives conveniently in its own box. This was important to me because I was concerned about fitting a full couch through my doorways. Once I had each section in the room they easily slide and attach together. The cup holders light up as well as and beneath the chairs, and I was glad to see that there is a setting to turn off these lights when you want the room nice and dark.

The only issue we had was figuring out how to turn the chairs on once we were ready to use them. The instructions do not indicate this and it took us a while to figure out that the touch panel has to be held down for a couple of seconds before it powers up. It was our millennial-age daughter who informed us of our "duh" moment. My wife and I just kept trying to push it without holding it down. Ha ha. Once we figured this out we were good to go and they have worked perfectly.

I love how close we can place the chairs to the back wall. They only need a few inches of clearance to fully recline. I highly recommend getting the table trays as well. They are super cool looking and can easily be removed when you don't want to use them but we usually just keep them in the slots as they don't really get in the way even if you're not using them. The arm rests have plenty of amble room in them for remote controls, etc. We have found that we regularly keep movie theater-type candy (red hots, milk duds, whoppers, junior mints, even single bags of skinny-pop popcorn, etc.) in the arm rests as well.

My only remaining concern I had before ordering this set was the price. I had found another set for less money that I was tempted to get even though it had less functionality and didn't look quite as cool. In the end the high-grain napa leather and everything else I just described won me over and it has been well worth it! My wife and kids all "dubs" the theater chairs when announce we are going to watch a movie together. These chairs are very comfortable! The company is great to work with and everything arrived a head of schedule. I am very glad I chose this set.

Great share. Are you able to DM me photos of how well the lumbar and headrest work? We are looking at the same ones.

I ordered the Syracuse model (slimmer model to fit 4 chairs, no headrest recline) during their boxing week sale, and I'm still awaiting delivery 7 weeks later (I am in British Columbia, so across the country).

When I ordered, paid extra for white glove service ($225) so they install it for you .. worth it? some weeks I work late shifts so my wife didn't want to have the boxes stuck outside in the rain/snow if I don't get home in time.

Super easy to put together .
The back and bottom come separately and slide together
Plug and play the controller cables .
They called to set up delivery time and were on time .

as far as 7 weeks , depends on inventory on hand I guess .

Just got mine 3 weeks ago
The Lumbar and headrest work great .

As other have noted the headrest could come up more , but 4 inches is better then nothing . Only needed when you fully recline ,

Thanks for the reviews! How is the height of the headrest? And do they stick out much when retracted?

On some designs I find them low enough that they push a little below my neck onto my shoulder blades (I am 6'3"), just enough to be irritating. Perhaps when retracted it doesn't protrude enough to feel it, but in the pictures it looks like it might.

Thanks,

Eric

Great to hear, thanks!

I am in the same boat comparing Eastporters and Costco: lumbar support is very important to me & nicer leather is a bonus; but Costco's return policy is awesome. With these reviews I am thinking I won't need to return

Chris at eastporters was great , helped me out after an incident with my dog ,, good company to deal with .
Also as you mention the costco one has better leather .

The tray tables are worth getting , $$ but usefull

Eastporters

https://www.eastporters.com/product/...nappa-leather/

OK , so here is my 2 month review

Purchase experience,, was 10/10

Delivery ,, they scedualled and showed up on time .

Assembly , piece of cake , very easy

Needs 8 inches of rear real estate , so not a true wall away

Initial comfort was stiff by my standards,, but after settling in , its perfect.

If you feel it,s too stiff , inflate the lumbar over night , then let the air out to suit .

This replaced my 4 year old Lazyboy home theater sectional which was literally falling apart . So I got to compare the 2 brands

The Valencia is by far a Superior product to the Laziboy crap I had .

The mechanism and plywood construction of the Valencia is a lot better then the cheap particle board construction of the Laziboy I had . I think it will last a lot better .

My dog damaged one of the cup holders and Eastporters was there to help me with great customer service .

I would recommend the chair and east porters to my friends .

Cheers
Don

If anyone was interested, I ended up switching to the Zurich model because of the smaller width.

Here is a pic of my setup with the center love seat configuration. The total width was 114 in.

I ordered the Valencia Syracuse seats during Boxing Day sale. My room is narrow ~12.5 to 13 feet wide and wanted 4 chairs for my family so opted for the thinner model of chairs (no storage space in arm rests).

Some issues were
(1) delay in receiving order. I live on west coast, but took 3 months for chairs to arrive. I complained about the delay so they gave me free headrest pillows

(2). I paid extra for white glove delivery (so they unpack and install). The delivery company wasn’t aware of it but still did after my wife asked. Unfortunately it was supposed to be a centre love seat configuration, and they installed in dual loveseat configuration. I would change it myself but they took all the manuals for the chairs (company said they would send me PDF but still waiting)

(3). One of the chairs had a faulty AC power adapter. A replacement was sent promptly after I notified them.

(4). One chairs metal bracket to hold the food tray was installed improperly (missing a screw at bottom?) so the tray tilts/toggles because it’s loose. I am still awaiting an official response on how to correct this. I called one technician and he said because the armrests are narrow would be hard to put the proper screw in place (and I don’t know how accessible it is). He suggested wrapping electrical tape around the metal ring stem so it’s a tight fit but again the trays are heavy so it may still tilt.

If the tray bracket issue can’t be fixed easily I don’t know whether to ask for a replacement chair or major discount.

Otherwise I am happy with the chairs reclining mechanism(not too loud) and seems comfortable. The LEDs look cool but when reclined shine on the screen so mostly keep them off when viewing.

What do you think of the headrest pillows? I found the headrest recline insufficient to support my head and ended up using a pillow anyway, do they give enough support? They look like the end up more in the middle of your neck by the picture?

The headrest pillows are adjustable. They have Velcro on them and give you Velcro adhesive strips to put on the back of the head rest.

I haven’t put on the Velcro strips yet (I probably need more) and figure out whether to put the strips horizontal or vertical on the back of the chair

I liked using the head rest (my chairs have no headrest incline) but my wife felt it was too large for her.

Not sure how much they cost normally. I don’t think I’d pay too much for them.

Mine are holding up okay. For one of my chairs the LED lights on the cup holder stopped working, but I really didn't like the lights anyway, very distracting. The soft buttons still glitch at times requiring you to plug and unplug the chairs at times.

I don't find it that comfortable to lay fully reclined but with just the foot rest it's pretty comfortable. I don't use the lumbar support at all, thought I would. Mostly because it doesn't really need it.

After a year they are holding up extremely well . I used to be a LZ boy fan , but these are a lot better quality and way better construction .

As mentioned above about every 2 months I have to unplug the chair and plug it back in to re-set them .

I needed a replacement part because my dog chewed a cup holder , and service was excellent .

I also do not use the lumbar support .

The seating is extra firm , but after sitting in them all day doing a movie marathon you are not sore , very good support .

Costco sells a lower line same version ( no lumbar , lower leather quality , lower price)

Best buy has same chairs, sometimes cheaper and free swivel table, but these guys matched the price and free shipping .

I went to eastporters to check out the seats. Looks like they have new models where the soft buttons on the drink holder have been replaced with hard buttons on the inside of the armrest. The tuscany arm storage size has also been increased.

I put in an custom order. Now I just have to wait 10-12 weeks...

When selecting "Build Your Own" on their website, you're given three comfort options. Does anyone have any experience with the "Soft" option? I prefer my seats on the softer side.

This looks almost identical to the seatcraft line I purchased

https://4seating.com/seatcraft-anthe...sofa-sectional

I went as far as researching the domains to see who owned 4seating.com that distributes them and the Seatcraft brand to see if it was connected to Valencia. It seems as though they are not related but I am going to agree with earlier posts from Bigmouthindc, I bet these companies are buying from the same Chinese providers. I have no complaints about the linked sectional linked above btw, very nice and extremely well built. I am going to be ordering a row of four in the next few weeks and may just go with Valencia since they match the sectional better then others sold on 4seating.

I have a few questions as I would be purchasing these or similar chairs from either Valencia or a similar brand.
1. Comfort?
2.. Quality?
3. In many of the images posted on line or similar threats, the back rests do not look like they sit straight. Is this the case?
4, comfort?
5. Any other model that anyone recommends other than the Tuscany (not a big fan of the style)?
6. Pictures that anyone could share?

Yamadr6,

Just a suggestion - check out our Fusion Collection Landmark-1021 recliners. You maybe pleasantly surprised with the comfort, looks, features and value. In addition to that you are in NJ, so you are very welcome to visit our showroom in the Bridgewater, NJ warehouse to actually see and try the chairs before purchasing them.

Take a look at a few styles of the HT Design to compare, sheffield, pembroke or clark, all have the power headrests. Clark has the lumbar power.

After about 40 movies in the Sheffield I can say they are very comfortable and the power headrest is great!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m hesitant to make a purchase online without ever having sat on the chairs. I don’t want to be stuck with something that is uncomfortable.

I understand we were the same way and decided to take a weekend trip and try them out first

My wife and I find the seats very comfortable even for extended sittings. Typically we watch one or two movies but have done three with no issues. FWIW I am 6'-2" and about 200 my wife is 5'2" and yeah even i'm not dumb enough to publish that LOL
