Arrow Octane Viper XL500 - Anyone sat in them? Narrow headrest seems like a great idea

Has anyone seen in person or sat in Octane Viper XL500 seats?

I love how they look, size, features, premium leather. The narrow headrest should allow you to hear the rear channels better and provide better viewing for seats on the back row.

The concern is whether they are comfortable, which is the WAF priority.

One glowing review on this page that said "The sit on this recliner is a little more to the firmer side of the scale. Given that the seating uses a foam core to keep the overall texture and lines looking clean, that is common for this type of chair. Would recommend to the Viper again." So, they say they're firm, but liked them.

I can't find even one photo of them that's not a stock photo or any feedback from someone who owns them who can speak to their comfort.

I just bought 4 of these seats. A row of 3 and a single seat for my HD gaming area. I’ll report back once I get them in a couple of weeks. Got a pretty good deal from Octane. And they do look awesome.

the concept of a chair with small headrests came up in this thread, and that chair was proposed.

^^^ Yeah, I’ve been wanting the viper for a while now and just finally gave in after going through the usual “I’ll just get these bonded leather seats”, then “I’ll get these poofy leather marshmallows because my girlfriend likes them”, finally ending up at “I am paying for all this **** so I’m getting what I want”

Just got my shipment notification so very excited. I’ll take some pics when they’re in. My theater pales compared to most here but its the best I could do with the space I have.
