Upping my seat game

I don't like buying seating that I can't sit in so I didn't want to order online (nothing wrong with ordering online, just a personal preference). I visited a lot of furniture stores the greater Seattle area looking for high grain leather reclines, with power and cup holders and not too expensive. I finally found something that I like at Mor Furniture (west coast furniture store). They have power recline, headrest and lumbar support. They are also really comfortable and feel will built. The only downside was that they weren't in stock and I had to wait two months for them to get delivered. Below are some pics of the chairs for anyone interested in seeing what the look like.

I agree they look cheaply made to me have them turn over the seat to see inside, big red flag to me is a 2 month wait time for these chairs from a furniture store.

You can do way better online.

Regards,
Alan

What should I look for? I didn't notice any sort of tags when I put them together. I can check again when I get home.

check the backing of the back flap on furniture if it has brown backing then it's probably bonded leather.

regards,
alan

You DO NOT want bonded leather! I made the mistake of buying chairs from a local furniture company and now they are flaking like crazy. Make sure to get full grain leather.

So I was just able to check and the back of the flap is gray (pic attached). Does that indicate that it is real leather or leather gel vs bonded leather? The chairs smell like leather to me also.

If this is a flap from the chair back, it is probably a matching vinyl. You actually need to check the areas that are supposed to be leather. if this is leather/vinyl combo, the matching vinyl is usually on the sides of the arms and very back of the chairs. The rest - all the surfaces that your body touches are usually covered w/leather. Now, what kind of leather was used is a separate question...

The quality shows, in the varying arm rest lengths...
