LCR Speakers for AT Screen

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to home theater and I have a basic question. I want to use in wall speakers behind an AT screen to save space. After some research it looks like using the same speakers for LCR is recommended. Do I use three L/R speakers or three center speakers?

I'm not a audiophile and with my low budget I won't be spending a lot of money on speakers but I want to make sure I make an informed decision. Any information would be appreciated.

You don't state your budget so I'm assuming the lower the price the better. If you're mounting in-wall speakers for your left, center and right channels take a look at some of the in-wall speakers at the Monoprice.com website.

Be sure to include a separate subwoofer with any in-wall speakers you select. Remember most wall studs are 16" on center so factor that into your speaker selection.

You use identical L/C/R speakers. The number of center channel speakers that can be used both vertically and horizontally is limited and be aware of marketing claims versus measured polar response in your desired position. Stick with a speaker intended for L/R as your center and you won't go wrong.
