Need help with theater seating in NJ

Folks - I am building out my theater in the basement. The width of the area I need to install seating is 12 feet. I can only have one row. I need reclining seats and I am not sure how many I should look for as well as whether they need to be single reclining seats each or a 3 seater sofa kind of seating. Any advise for local retailers is helpful. Additionally the basement entry goes down three stairs, reaches a landing and turns 90 degree to go down. So I need something that can be turned around easily without damaging the walls.

I have 13 feet width and the 2+1 seats from HTMarket fit well, granted back row will not be optimized, but hey.

A forum favorite internet direct home theater seating vendor has their warehouse with floor samples in New Jersey. Rtheaters.com, make an appointment and tell Roman I sent you.

HTMarket has been awesome! 4seating.com started out great but ended up with an issue based on incorrect specs on their website. The resolution was to take 9 days we are at day 34 and counting

The HT design Paget will fit we have other options like Warwick, and Belmont (power headrest option) in leather. These other styles are going to sit exactly like the Paget so keep that in mind if you get to sit in it.

The basement entry will be no issue as the seats come with a bottom and back in the box and can be brought down separately and then attached together.

You can see videos showing unbox and set up on our web site. Feel free to reach our by phone or email.

Regards,
Alan

genaccmiller,

Our Jive-1013 and some other style groups will allow for 3 chairs to easily fit in your room. You are welcome to visit our warehouse in Bridgewater, NJ 08807 and try the chairs to see which ones you will find more comfortable for you. As a matter of fact the warehouse will be open on Monday (Veteran's day).

Folks - I visited the Rtheaters warehouse yesterday and liked the lagoon chairs. Does anyone else have these chairs and can you let me know how well you like them?

We had 4 Lagoons for 8 years that we used daily. Loved them! They held up to heavy use very well and were very comfortable. Our theater was a huge selling point this spring when we sold our house and the Lagoons got rave reviews from buyers.
