Cable cords across floor?
We have cables and cords running across the rug and wonder if there's a school solution for protecting the cords themselves and people from tripping over them.
In order to promote better viewing and speaker separation, we now have the viewing sofa stuck out like an island away from walls and electric outlets, and since the house foundation is a concrete slab, we can't run electricity under the floor. Speaker cord snakes across doorways, at least for now, though if we keep the furniture as it is now, we can re-plumb the walls for cable TV and speaker wire.
Electricity access at the seating position is a permanent problem, while speaker wire and co-ax is at least a current problem. How do other people handle cords that have to travel where people walk?
