I didn't have the room for the curved, as it's a small den. If you went curved, you wouldn't have quite the same versatility, but I guess you could rotate them as you would the straight configuration, only you'd be changing it from curved to straight when you did rotate them.
Good point, you have been a ton of help. Really appreciate it.

It all depends on space curved takes way more space up then straight. You really can't rotate chairs if that's what you want to do. I think quality is good so rotating may not be an issue.

Curved you would use all 1 arm seats but just different pieces, you would use 2e, 9e, 7e, 3e. Those pieces would have to stay in place to make a curved config.

Curved loveseat flicks is 140"

Straight Loveseat flicks is 124"

So it depends on space mostly. I would do it if I had the space.

What cover did you want to do? and what color?

Regards,
Alan

I'm glad that I was able to help in some way. I have been helped by many while shopping for seats, especially luv2fly3 and Alan, so I'm happy to pay it forward.
bofa89 and luv2fly3 like this.

ISF Calibrator
Samsung PN64F8500, Denon AVR-S910.
Pioneer Kuro Elite Pro-111FD, Denon AVR-X2400H, Palliser Flicks lOlOOlOl Dax material.
Displays are like 100% cotton t-shirts. Always buy a size larger than you think you'll need, as they tend to shrink over time.

I think I have the space, the unfinished room was 226 inches wide, Ill have to measure it exactly to see the finished space width, but it appears I have the space for curved pretty easily.

Catalina straight is 130", Im guessing the curved is around 146".

IM planning on getting leather dazzle pansy. Yea im crazy, Viking fan though and want some pop of color.

Depends on if you're getting loveseat configuration or not.

If you're getting
  • Curved loveseat 4-seater (one 7L, one 9L, one 2L and one 3L) = 140".
  • Curved non-loveseat 4-seater (one 5L, one 6L, one 2L and one 3L) = 154"
  • Straight non-loveseat 4-seater (two 1Ls, one 3L, one 2L) = 130".
  • Straight loveseat 4-seater (two 2Ls and two 3Ls) = 124".

Or you can do what luv2fly3 did and buy all 1Ls and curve and space them however you like.

Good point, thank you! I'm actually contemplating that a bit.

Im consiering ordering one 1L and two 3L's, I could figure as three straight chairs or as one chair and a love seat.

Or go back to 4. One aspect I like about three is I can center main seat and it saves me a lot!

I sent PM on Flicks quote, I can quote 3 also and 3 Catalina. FYI, you should know if you go dazzle leather it only comes as all over top grain leather.

You can't do a leather match combo which would save you lots of money. I would put the purple in carpet and get another color and do leather match.

It would save about 20% on the purchase by doing leather match combo versus all over leather.

Alan
