Oh...that sux..can you post a pic of what it looks like? Honestly, I have seen the way fedex, etc handle these boxes and they may appear ok on the outside but they do drop them. I watched a fedex overnight driver actually drop a 55" samsung 6300 right in front of my driveway!!!! can cause issues with the Tv's, of course, it is completely possible that it is factory defect. Let us know how Beach handles this for you??? Curious?

Quick reply for those requesting receipt confirmation after ordering from Beach. I put in the E6 order on 5/9 (earlier post here) and received on the west coast 5/16 -- TV is amazing!

A few details: Shipped via Fedex Home Delivery; B6? external cardboard box with brand new manufacturer sealed E6 box inside. Submitted Price Rewind info referencing TVSuperstore through Citi -- so far so good, initial review seems to have gone fine although Beach invoice did not list the last four numbers of my CC. Citi requested to see purchase hit on a Statement, which happened today. Will update once I receive approval confirmation on the price match.

Photos or it didn't happen... tried to attach, but a long time lurker so if they aren't visible I will update after I reach 5 posts. =\

Posting a picture of your issue would be helpful, but I can tell you that if you did not report "mishandling" of the TV during shipment (and of course there has to be "provable" evidence of such), Beach Camera will refer you to LG for service.

I purchased one of the 55C6 "New/Open Box" eBay special deals and received a box that was in "perfect" condition (including the Styrofoam internal packaging). The first night, it performed flawlessly. The next morning, I turned it on to be greeted by a full vertical row of stuck/dead pixels. I immediately contacted Beach Camera to explain that I've apparently received a defective set. Instead of offering a replacement, they were quick to refer me to LG for "warranty" service stating that was their "Television Policy".

I can't, for the most part, blame Beach Camera (as the cost of shipping is on them), but having only 6 hours on the set, I expected something more from an "authorized" re-seller. Best Buy, on the other hand, would have replaced the set, no questions asked. Of course, I would have paid MUCH more for that convenience.

Fortunately, for me, running a YouTube "Pixel Fix" got me going and I haven't needed to get LG involved. In the future, however, I will make myself FULLY aware of a seller's "replacement" policy for a defective product.

Hope this helps...

This always makes me think Twice about ordering my Tv's online from places w/ basically no return policies. But the price differential is so large. Always a trade off!..

Ha! We were considering a 75" Samsung LED before I found this thread... opted for the much better picture quality, HDR format war protection, etc. Coming from the prior 46" this TV is HUGE. ;-]

A couple more pictures: TV is sitting right at about ~3" from the wall. I used a Cheetah mount from Amazon. As others noted previously these OLEDs mount low on their back. Kindly ignore the hastily-placed antenna. =] Wire management will follow soon.

Grabbed the last B6 at Microcenter Cambridge for $1599 to replace a Kuro 101FD, nice picture and 4K demoes look nice. Now I gotta track down an E6 (Walt's had an Open Box G6 for the same price but my understanding is it only offers better sound but I have a home system so not worth it...). So $4300 and Citi $500 price match rebate...$3800? Not bad...

I just noticed thanks to you my Beach Camera invoice doesn't have the last four of the credit card. I've yet to submit a price request but just to be ahead of the curve you had to fax/email a copy of your monthly statement?? You'd think they could just compare to the charge noted on your account.

You'd think so! I emailed; my statement just cycled today. Will update this thread once I get a reply from them.

I wholeheartedly agree. There was a $950 difference between what I paid and what Best Buy charges for the same set. Considering Beach Camera "is" an LG authorized re-seller, the risk seemed minimal. Even if I needed to call LG for warranty service, the inconvenience would have been minor in comparison to the money I saved.

Minor annoyance aside, I am very pleased with my purchase...

I would probably use beach myself as they are authorized dealer (even thou many have said it will not matter if you purchase from non authorized when it comes to Lg) but they charge sales tax in my state and that kills the deal for me using Beach!

Looks like iElectrica's $2499 65C6P bundle is back, and there's an eBay bucks deal (targeted) through the 20th that effectively brings it down to $2399, or $1899 with CC PP. Solid for anyone looking for max OLED inches for min price. The '16's aren't going to last forever.

E6 for 3800? Which size???

The 65 Could be had for 2200 so 3800 is quite excessive

Good deal with the ebay bucks if you have them....not sure what Lg is doing with these since people are getting them with 4/2017 build dates? Most other electronics companies would not still be making 2016 models in April of 2017. Perhaps there is something I just don't know about the industry?

Really?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-Electroni...kAAOSwcUBYUsjI

Ray and Angel from Beach Camera had the set for ~2700. Ielectrica and beach camera are reputable sellers.

and when you factor in CC-PP it goes as low as 2200 ...

Yeah, but that link shows it for $3300 and Beach Camera lists it for $4300! CC-PP is also $500 max, so I'd have to get a price match for $2800 for the $3300 one...

http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/prod...-TV-w-webOS-30

If you have a legit dealer selling one for $2700 I'd jump on it, because that Echo and Optics reseller with "Best Offer" wouldn't budge below $3100 and not sure how reputable they are, since I Googled them and actually found a post where back in Jan. they let one go for $2700 and gave me the run around when I mentioned it to them.

3300 before and 2800 after PP is still 1000$ lower

Look on this thread for angel's and ray's phone numbers. Then call and see if you can get the prices they had.

You can PP against any dealer. And i mean ANY dealer.

You have to call Beach Camera at one of the numbers listed here to get the 2700 price. Don't go by the website price. And they are a reputable and authorized dealer.

Pulled my ks8000 off the wall today an mounted my 65 b7. Im stoked and have no issues. Lg sent me confirmation of my registration today, so no issues there. So far, 2295 is the cheapest i can pp to. With my 2700 purchase, im still hoping to see a 2200. Either way, happy with my decision not to wait until black friday.

For Discover, what did everyone have to provide? Were screenshots enough?

I'm printing out the main item page so the URL and date is on the bottom. Though just the first and second page, otherwise it's like 7 pages of add on item options.

Can anyone who has already got price protection verify what exactly you submitted from the items webpage??

For example is this enough (I'll be faxing so the quality will be legible)...

Subbed to this thread and been following it. I'd just pay $100 more for ielectrica given the recent negative feedback for this seller. I was going to get a 55B (currently have a Samsung UNC55C6300) but tempted to pull the trigger for 65" off ielectrica and use CC PP against one of those websites.

Do these eBay sellers charge sales tax shipping to California? For Beach Camera I only found this:
Code:
Seller charges sales tax for items shipped to: NJ (7.000%). Tax applies to subtotal + S&H for NJ only

One way to find out is to add an item to your cart, start checking out, and see if they add sales tax. Otherwise, if a seller has no nexus to California, then they probably won't charge sales tax to ship to California. Being that I live in NJ, I do get charged sales tax by Beach Camera, other NJ sellers, and many of the other NY sellers who have a warehouse or some other connection in NJ. YMMV.

By the way, to the poster above who mentioned ielctrica's deal for the 65C6P, be careful as those bundle deals can be a problem when you try to do price protection/price rewind with your credit card company. You want a nice clean receipt, just the television, no HDMI cable, no mount, no bundle, etc. That other deal from serviceexpressnow is $100 less, and just the television. FWIW.

Got my E6 from Rey at Beach Camera today. FedEx guy just rang the doorbell and left before I even got to the door. That was troubling. But shipping was free and no tax. $2700 total and submitted my price match with Citi for another $500 off. Also picked up an additional three year Squaretrade warranty from Costco today for $90. My 70'' Sony I bought in 2015 crapped out and Asurion paid me out in full so I highly recommend warranties or I'd be out $1800.

Anyways, tv came double boxed. TV is mint. Perfect condition from NJ to AZ.

3D is AMAZING!!! Sharp and clear and clean. It's something else. Picked up the Phillips BDP-5502 at Walmart for $178. It's fairly limited. No WiFi. I may return it. La La Land in 4K HDR looked good. But John Wick 4K HDR looks amazing.

My tv was manufactured in March 2017. So I would think the 2016 models linger longer than expected hopefully. Some quick pics.

Anyways. Still messing around with it and have a lot of work to do setting everything up.

Hopefully the C6 goes down even further before production ceases so I can snag one for the bedroom.
