For 55" OLED LG displays, consider:
  1. Best Buy now offers free $150 gift card with 55" OLED displays
  2. Best Buy will price match TigerDirect.
  3. TigerDirect lists LG 55" Displays cheaper than Best Buy

Tiger Direct Prices:
  • OLED55B6P (out of stock on TD) = $1849
  • OLED55C6P = $1849
  • OLED55E6P = $2299

Combine that with the $150 gift card after price matching at Best Buy, not a bad deal. Why they limited it to only 55" I have no clue

Plus, maybe you can still due those Credit Card Price Matches, unless the free gift card shows up as some sort of bundle that could ruin it.

You'll likely use that Gift Card on movies or a new player to enjoy the tv, lol.
Alternatively, for the 55-inch b6/c6, hhgregg discounts $150 off the price in-cart instead of a gift card. Plus if you have a hhgregg credit card, they offer 36-month financing on all OLED TVs.

I do think that iElectrica is a reliable seller... after missing the 65C6P deal with them (their container got into an accident so all of their C6s went out of stock), they gave me an instant refund + free HDMI cable (not that i care since i have lots of them at home but this goes to show they do nick/nack w/ their customers) and told me check back in a week and they'll still honor the $2299 price... Just checked back today and a rep told me that they won't have anything in stock for another week. After 15 mins, he called me back and said that Echoandoptics (one of their competitors on eBay had a daily deal at $2399 so i should jump on it while its still available and i did go for it ($100 more but this time i paid with my visa cc so i'm going to try the price protection from visa). iElectrica actually recommends echoandoptics and too and they have great ratings on eBay.... will keep you guys posted on the status!

Cheers

quick question to those who has done the price protection successfully. When do you guys start the claim with Visa? Is it as soon as you made the payment, waiting till you receive it, a week, 2 weeks from your purchase???
Thanks

ielectrica has the 55C series for $1450 beginning today. They told me last FRI that they have sold 1000's of the 55B series within different ebay listings, that their 55B series for 1499 ended today, and the new 55C series offer begins.

Also FRI .... Echo&Optics told me that THEY would have their B series for 1499 beginning today (they do).

ps .... calibration video results:

Best Buy refused to price match TigerDirect for me. See my previous post: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/322-ol...l#post49991553

No matter, I called ClevelandAV and got an even lower price. 55" E6P was delivered today.

Mind sharing what you paid? I was looking at the 55E from ielectrica on eBay for $1899 but the price just went up almost $200 to $2089. So much for Super Bowl discounting...

2. Called Discover, 29th Dec 2016
3. Pricematch approved, Jan 6th 2017
4. Check received Jan 20th 2017

$2250 delivered. I know it's not as low as the ebay or "upsell" retailers, but I like buying from a dealer I know is reputable. In a few weeks I'll do a price protection on my CC against one of the upsell retailers to try and save a couple more hundred.

Anyone know how much discount you can get when doing a "Make Offer" for Echo and Optics? They seem pretty stingy and auto declined $99 off $2399.

B6 and C6 for $2400 at ebay by Echo and Optics.

Any feedback for this seller from the recent black friday purchases appreciated.

This is not a bundle unlike the ielectrica, so easy for price protection using credit card.

I cant paste links unfortunately in this post.

I called their sales and offered to pay directly but they wouldn't even take it... they said $2399 is the lowest price since they got reimbursement from ebay since its a daily deal promotion type of thing.

Debating buying in the next 2 weeks vs waiting it out for the next drop in april or so. How much lower can we expect it to go? If april brings only $200 in additional savings, I think I would rather just get it now. If we're talking $400-500 I may be inclined to wait it out.

Can someone please tell me what is a good price for the 65E6? Is it best to wait until the new models come out or are the deals pretty good at this point.
Thank you for any info you can provide.

Aren't there 78 pages of good prices in this thread??

Right now the 65E6 is running $3,100-$3,300 from Cleveland AV and a few other reputable sellers....I suggest you read through this thread to get some info on Pricing, reputable sellers, and credit card price protection.

I've been monitoring Echo for a couple weeks and it seems to be until they replenish the inventory, theres still a lot of TVs left, when they sell this batch the next batch will probably be more like $2800 again.

I'm buying a 55" e6 from EbuyUSA. Here is what I've learned so far. If you pay for the fedex shipping up front, they're not going to give you a call about insurance because it will be insured with fedex. Also, if you happen to click on a link from google and it takes you to their website, you might want to double check their prices by searching on the ebuyusa site. It turns out that they have batches from earlier in the year (Which are at a lower price) and batches from later in the year--at a price more comparable to their competitors. I was going to buy the 65" at the discounted price, but decided not to take the risk on the product quality. I called in and spoke with Joe who was forthright about that and worked with me to make sure I was getting one I wanted. He offered me the newer 65" in a bundle that would still be lower than most of his competitors, but I ended up getting the 55" bundle as that was more in line with what I wanted to spend.

Now, we wait...

Very good deal on 55" B6 and C6 at Best Buy right now. I've been following the forum and websites for a few weeks now. 4kTV forum on reddit keyed me in on the fact that Best Buy is selling the OLED55B6P and OLED55C6P for $1799. On top of that, the Best Buy I went to is offering a $150 gift card with the purchase of any 55" LG OLED TV. Essentially bought a brand new 55" LG OLED C6P for $1650 before taxes. Pretty good deal, IMO.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to swing into my local BB on the way home and see if the $1,799 in-store sale is here as well. Not sure if I even want the $150 gift card since it will likely screw up any chance at recovering some credit card price protection $$$.

Anyone had any success with making an offer to Echo and Optics for a 65B6P? Buy it now is $2399, but if I can save another little bit, why not?

Given that I don't tend to do the credit card protection stuff/price matching, I just took the $150 gift card and had them apply it to the price of the TV. BB does the price matching within 15 days. But, I'm not very confident that the price will get much lower than $1799 on a new in box OLED55C6P. Also, I'm in Houston if that helps. The person I heard about the deal from is from NJ and was corroberated by another New Jersian. Not sure why the online price isn't reflecting what the brick and mortars are selling for, though. Bit of a head scratcher.

I'm guessing it's a MAP thing. I write the MAP policy for my company and an in-store only sale would be permissible under it.

Hi Guys,

Just purchased the 65C6 from Best Buy. I put this on a new Best Buy citi card.

Any clue if I can use the card price protection on this card?

Also, who are you guys using to price match against? ebay stores?

Thanks

Price protection question:

Several people said they have cited ebuyusa and eastcoast tv

Chase visa wants screenshots of the days this sale was valid...I can't find anything on either site that shows the tv price AND the date

How do I show the sale price and the date?

Screenshot your computer showing the date and time in the bottom corner. Click on the clock and it will open the calendar making it easier to read.
