I decided to try a lowball for the E7 on Greentoe. Tried 2107, and got back a counter of $2449. I'm in no hurry, so I may bump up my number a little, but probably not over $2200. I wanted to go with the E7, because I have a battle with my wife always wanting to put stuff on the mantle in front of my soundbar. I will report back if I get an accepted offer on greentoe.

Any idea what the deal on the E7 is? Greentoe assures me that 2449 is the lowest they will go, so I'm checking on other options while I wait.

Yes very reputable. I've bought DSLRs, lenses, etc. Any issue will have to deal with the reseller. You'll get that info once you're transaction is complete.

Many, many people on Slickdeals have used them...I ordered my 65B7A last Wednesday and it was delivered to my door yesterday (Via BeachCamera - authorized dealer) - Double-boxed and no damage despite being shipped via FedEx all the way across the country)

Thanks. Free shipping too. Crazy. I might put in a $2,000 LG C7P offer.

FYI - In case you want a lower up-front cost, I got the 65B7A for $1999....the cheapest I could get the C7P was $2099 (I believe - my offer has now expired)

Think I’m going to give Greentoe a try as I’m finally ready to make my purchase with downstairs remodeling almost done. I’ve been planning on a 65B7A but I’m hoping to go with a C7P strictly for the black bezel instead of silver. Not a huge deal if I end up getting a B7A though as I never notice the silver on my 55B6 but preference would be all black

Honestly, there is no bezel...so unless you are looking at TV from behind, you'll never notice it

Bezel, trim, whatever you want to call it the B series has silver around the panel and the C series doesn’t but as I said I never really notice on my B6 so in end not a big deal but I’m going to try for a C series first

I also don't care for the silver bezel which is supposed to be on the B7 but is not really there!?

But seriously, you make a good point. I might offer even less for a B7 because every day that passes every current year model is dropping in price and value, if even only marginally.

I seriously doubt they do per-person deals...

$1999 is probably the lowest they go (currently) on the B7A
$2099 is probably the lowest they go (currently) on the C7P

FYI to everyone else looking for a price-match: http://www.tvsuperstores.com/LG_B7A_...traHD_998.html

I just submitted my PP claim to Chase...

Got a $500 refund in about a weeks time. Never had to talk to anyone or any additional info requested. I would just wait until your account is actually charged and you can snag an image. Shouldn’t need to wait for a statement. You also have 60 to 90 days to do this depending on your card. So you can wait for lower prices if the lower price isn’t at least $500 (most CCs max benefit), but you do run the risk of the TV prices to match not staying low.

I've got over $800 in BB gift cards as well as a Citibank American Airlines Platinum credit card. Let's say I purchase a C7 at BB using my gift cards to help pay for the purchase and charge the rest to my Citi cc. Would Citi reimburse up to $500 using their Price Protection program?

It did for me. I used gift cards, reward zone, Shopkick, Best Buy card and citi card lol So to say my receipt was busy and getting the claim pushed through without question was impressive. To get the full $500, you’ll need two things: to put at least $500 on the citi card and find a place that is selling the TV for $500+ less than Best Buy is selling it. I used JoesAV. Otherwise you will just get the amount difference reimbursed of what you paid or the matched price difference. So if you only put $300 in the citi card and match for $500 less, you will only get $300 reimbursed. If you put at least $500 on cars and match for $200 less, you only get $200 back. Hopefully this helps.

Very helpful. Thanks!
BTW, the $800 in BB gift cards comes from the Citibank Rewards program. Potentially, Citi will subsidize $1300 toward my C7!

I took a greentoe offer of $1999 for the B7A. I submitted $1968 to see if they would come lower, then decided to take the counter offer, because citi is only going to get me down $400, so my lower offer doesn't really matter anyway.

Greentoe won't re-counter per my understanding...they give you the lowest price on the first attempt...

Veterans can get the 65" B7 on sale for $1999 through the Exchange (myexchange.com) . Free shipping. Have other models on sale as well until the 15th. However, if it is damaged during shipping or any other issue like working for 45 minutes then dies, you have to take pictures and was told it takes about 3 weeks to refund your money. No exchanges. So I am mulling this over. I wish I knew someone active duty so it could be picked up locally.

So is the only downside of Ebay the slow delivery time plus they're not authorized? I'm seeing $2099 for a 65C7P and by far the best deal I've seen that didn't involve chargebacks/price match to my CC company.

I had just screencapped the price they had it for the C7 ($1,099) on December 18th, but because that screencapture had a Black Friday ad on it (which actually their website STILL has a Black Friday ad on it) it was rejected as being seasonal sales. They said I could try a different screenshot if it didn't have that ad, so luckly I had taken one of it in my cart, which doesn't have that ad, so maybe that'll work. Else I'm SOL on getting a cheaper price than that $1399 I got it at Fry's since apparently Chase isn't taking Joe's AV or Ebuy.
Success! I heard absolutely nothing back after I emailed Chase that shopping cart price on TVSuperstores, but 5 weeks later I find a check in the mail today. So ended up with a 55" C7 for $1099 after all was said and done!

I actually submitted another claim using a different website in the meantime, I assume that'll get cancelled at some point. Guess we'll find out how well they keep track of multiple claims...
