$100 eBay bucks makes it $3900 (but $300 in tax, yuck!).

Makes you wonder when Sony is going to finally lower A9F prices.

How do you get the $100 in eBay bucks and also where are you seeing $300 in tax? When I go to checkout there are no taxes applied. I've heard they only charge sales tax in FL. so if you're located there I can understand why then.

eBay offer for invited accounts (set to receive offers in account settings). Not everyone gets the offers, however.

https://pages.ebay.com/rewards/2019/0327/p3k55v44ns3d2y9s.html

Sales tax appeared in cart at checkout page, but my goofy state already passed an Internet sales tax law last year. Other states (lucky you) haven't passed such laws yet (but will soon given the Supreme Court ruling last year).

Ok, $3999 is the all time low that is available online to everyone. And if you're not in Florida it's the all time all time low since there's no tax.

Bought from their eBay store, so not only am I covered by eBay but also Paypal and my CC that I used. It does say free returns, and people have bought from them with no issues on here. I'm just hoping I get acceptable screen uniformity. I will update how things went once I get it

A quick update, Got a call this afternoon about the TV. Called back the company and it was ielectra which after some research are the ones selling the TV's under firstclasstv's on eBay. They tried to sell me white glove delivery but nothing about an 8bit panel that the scam sites do. At this point i'm gonna let it ride a few more days and see what happens. Reviews seem to be good on ielectra but the shipping company they use are just bad. I just hope I don't miss out on a better deal with beachcamera/buydig in the meantime.

What's wrong with the shipping company they use? With the 100% positive feedback it seems that there haven't been any unhappy customers, but maybe they're somehow hiding the negative reviews(even though I don't think you can do that with eBay). Will be watching your updates closely.

I mentiond shipping only because I was reading reviews here https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.ielectrica.com

Please keep us updated. I did some research on firstclasstvs as well. On Ebay their rating is great. Elsewhere their rating is not so great. I read multiple postings about bait and switch shipping insurance that was mandatory and not disclosed initially. Long shipping times was also mentioned frequently. Right now I am leaning towards just calling Cleveland Plasma and placing an order with them. Maybe not the absolute lowest price but I just feel more comfortable they will stand behind what they sell if I have a problem. Best of luck with your purchase. I hope it goes smoothly!

I bought my 65" C7 from firstclasstv's on ebay around this time last year. The shipping company wasn't good as they only delivered to my area on a certain day of the week. They come inside and let you plug it in to make sure it works. Good thing, since my first TV came damaged. It was no hassle getting them to take it back, but then I had to wait out the shipping again due to the "only deliver on a specific day to my area". 2nd TV worked as expected, but overall took 5 weeks from order to working TV. Customer Service at the shipping company was decent in that they always took my calls and were nice... but couldn't fix my problem (ie deliver my TV in a timely manner). TV has been great ever since tho.

I wouldn't have any reservations about ordering from them because as johnnyknoxsvill said you're covered by eBay, Paypal and your credit card. It's worth a slightly delayed shipping time to save several hundred dollars so my plan is still to buy from them unless johnny reports back here with a complete horror story.

It seems fistclasstv's are completely different from ebay and the website. Ielectra operates as firstclasstvs on eBay and the site firstclasstvs is def a scam site. Not sure why they would want a name that is associated as being a scam site unless they are all the same company

It is very odd because there have been horror stories about people buying from the website, but if you look at all the eBay feedback there are zero problems...and a lot of those feedback comments are from people buying LG C8s.

All of this makes me uneasy about buying anything from them.

They are great on Ebay but horrible on their own website???

That doesn't make any sense to me.

On the other hand, Cleveland Plasma has an impeccable online reputation. For me, it is worth a few hundred extra dollars to go with the more reputable company. Especially when spending several thousands of dollars online. I hope you get a great set with no problems.

Best of luck with your purchase.

As I mentioned earlier, when you buy from them on eBay you're covered by eBay, Paypal and your credit card company. It's not like you're going to get scammed in that scenario.

I bought my 65B6 from eBay/ielectra a couple years ago. First set was defective. He took it with him and brought me a new B6 a couple days later. Excellent service overall.

Update: TV has shipped by AMtrucking, which has gotten bad reviews in terms of transit times. Hopefully it wont take long as its shipping from CA and I'm in AZ. Will update when the TV arrives

I'd take "slow transit times and safe" vs "quick and damaged", if given the option. Just saying

Is Gameliquidations more reputable than FirstClassTVs/ielectrica and any idea what freight service they use for shipping? Thanks.

I am wandering if anyone on these forums has any idea how common is the "buzzing problem" on the 77 inch LG OLED C8.

It is difficult to get a sense of how commonly this problem occurs by reading on the forums. I am wanting to purchase one soon and am a little concerned.

It seems like it is only an issue with the 77 inch models. Can anyone give me an idea about the likelihood of this issue?

Thanks

A new low, right (by a whole whopping $5 / 0.1% )?

Just an FYI, while this is a great deal, this retailer is specifically on a list of those not authorized and, per LG, you might not have a warranty if you buy a TV through them.

This fear mongering by LG has been debunked many many times. (I am not aware of even a single customer that was denied warranty coverage based on place of purchase...)

Yep, pretty stupid of me to go and read something on LGs own website after doing a search on the retailer name and seeing LG specifically say that they can deny warranty coverage if purchased from a non authorized retailer.

No need to get your feathers ruffled. What LG says they CAN do vs what they WILL do has been demonstrated clearly by now. Your mileage of course may vary
