Did they bring the set inside your house for you? The text I got said due to COVID, they would just bring it to the threshold.

Fortunately, my father-in-law is visiting and can probably help me bring it inside and down to our basement.
I asked if they would carry it inside which they did.
I tipped 10 bucks each.
They were surprised about that.

My 77C9 shipped from NJ on 5/19 and I received it this Saturday morning, 5/23. They actually arrived a couple of hours earlier than their original quoted delivery window.

Surprisingly, they brought the set inside and down to the basement and also unboxed it and powered it on to make sure it was working properly.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service. I was pleasantly surprised as to how fast the TV arrived.

The only negative was that it looks like the box had come through the rain a bit and the top of the box had some water-damage. Not sure if I'll be able to re-use the box if necessary, but I stored it just in case.

Subwoofers: SVS PB12-NSD |Outlaw LFM1-Plus

My 77C9 arrived today. It shipped out of NJ on the 13th and my original estimated delivery date was supposed to be yesterday but I guess AM Home Delivery had other ideas. My delivery window was 11-3 and they arrived around 12pm. Let me tell you, from the time I woke up to the time they arrived was the longest wait of my life. I was getting antsy and impatient.

When they arrived they said they couldn’t wait around to let me open the box and inspect the TV first due to COVID-19 so they asked me to sign a waiver. I was a little hesitant but ultimately agreed since the box was in near perfect condition so I was confident there wouldn’t be any physical damage. Once I got it halfway unboxed and turned on, I discovered a bright white stuck pixel which worried me at first but I ran the pixel refresher and it corrected itself thankfully. I still need to dial in all my settings (will spend more time on that this weekend) but I’ve sampled a bunch of different content and the set is just beautiful. Even though I measured everything a million times in my wait to judge the size, it is MASSIVE and feels even bigger than I was expecting!

I had the same experience too though mine is still on an AV stand I thought it might be just a bit too big for my space but I find that at 8' sitting distance, it is just about perfect. It's a good thing too because for the price I paid, this set needs to last me at least another 5-7 years!

I just offered greentoe $3199 for the 77C9, they countered with $3599... $3599 for this TV seems like an amazing deal.

Hi xxxxxx,

I have some great news on your Greentoe purchase offer. We can save you $1205!

The lowest price online for the LG C9PUB 77" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart OLED TV (2019) is $4499 at Amazon . The Amazon after-tax price to you is $4804.

If you raise your offer to $3599, it will get accepted instantly and the total savings compared to Amazon will be $1205. This $3599 price we got you is the TOTAL AMOUNT that you will be charged (including shipping).

Please Note: The retailer does not charge tax in MO and shipping is free! The total price you will pay is $3599

If you are interested please let me know by replying to this email or changing your price here. Also if you have any questions, feel free to reply and I'll get back to you right away.

By the way, I noticed you added an extended warranty to your offer. The above pricing is before the warranty and that order will be processed separately once this offer is accepted. You can make changes to your extended warranty selection by clicking here. Thanks,

Chris

That's what I paid from Greentoe about a month ago. (see above in this thread).
So maybe not amazing but still as good as anyone is going to get no matter what the initial offer is.

I offered them $3500 and they also countered with $3599. I went ahead and confirmed on Sunday.

Already got a shipping notification today with estimated delivery of June 23.

How long did it take for the 77C9 to show up on Greentoe as "available" last year after it was released? Curious to know when 77CX will become available.

Same for me. Really happy with my purchase and the experience with Greentoe!

Has anyone else bought a warranty through Greentoe for their OLED? What has your experience been with them?

Trying to decide if I want to pay for the premium warranty plan through LG or the one Greentoe offers.

I received a counter from Greentoe on the 77" Sony A9G - XBR77A9G for $3,999.00. Best legit price I've seen.

That's still $400 more than the offer I received on the 77" LG C9.

Not sure the A9G is that much better.

Pretty much the same offers I received on 77" C9 and A9G. After spending a LOT of time thinking and comparing reviews etc., I decided that $400 isn't too much over 6-7 years (my current Panasonic plasma is 10yrs old, so I'll keep this one for 6-7yrs at least) for not worrying about panel lottery, build quality, and having better motion processing. I don't care about gaming, so don't need HDMI 2.1.

Just accepted the A9G offer. Hope it turns out all good!

great deal on the Sony 77'' ... I've been waffling back and forth and that price makes it a lot more of a compelling offer to the C9

88 needs to become more affordable. The 77 is great but half the time I wish I went with 85 inch QLED. Then I watch a movie in the dark and OLED picture is so much better.

How far away do you sit from the TV? I was debating 77" OLED vs. 85" LED/QLED as well and ultimately felt that the 8" difference at those sizes isn't worth the PQ sacrifice.

I sit 14' away from the TV, and the 88" OLED would be amazing! 77" is going to be smaller but it's still a step up from my current 55".

Sony XBR77A9G - $3999

I know I’m new, and I’d like to thank each of you for your informational comments about OLED pricing deals! I’ll start with this one:

Sony XBR77A9G - $3999/incl tax and shipping from Greentoe

I can’t include a link as I don’t have a high enough post count , but if you go to the Greentoe web site and search on Sony XBR77A9G you’ll see the product with a retail price of $4998.

Enter your bid at $3999 and it will be accepted. Admittedly this is my first time ordering from them, but the Greentoe thread seems very positive about them. My offer has been accepted by a Sony Authorized Reseller (I checked!), and now am just waiting for shipping information. Prior members have reported 5-7 day shipping time frames.

Will let you know how it goes!
